Fixtures for trapping condensation, molds, methods of making fixtures and air conditioning systems are disclosed. The fixtures have a hollow body and at least one curved portion in which condensation may be trapped. The mold incorporates at least one mold core that may be removed from the curved portion of the molded fixture after molding.

Fixtures for trapping condensation

An improved fitting having an improved flexible tubing tip to connect to flexible tubing, e.g., FUNNY PIPE brand polyethylene pipe, used for sprinkling systems and other fluid delivery systems. According to one aspect of the present invention, one or more annular barbs are positioned at or toward the back of the portion of the fitting inserted into the flexible tubing, with a threaded or spiral or helix portion being positioned at the front of the portion of the fitting inserted into the flexible tubing. According to another aspect of the present invention, the threaded or spiral or helix portion of the fitting is slightly tapered to facilitate insertion into the flexible tubing. According to yet another aspect of the present invention, a double helix spiral thread is used.

Fitting for flexible tubing

A thrust plug that performs the functions of both (i) reversibly capping an end of a length of pipe, a fitting, or the like and (ii) providing a surface against which a concrete thrust block can be cast, thereby facilitating thrust blocking. The thrust plug of the present invention comprises a plug affixed to a base for engagement with a thrust block and against which a concrete thrust block can be directly cast.

A check valve assembly is disclosed for use with a pool or spa plumbing system and includes first and second hub sections connected together by a nut member. An insert member carrying an elastomeric diaphragm is sandwiched between the first and second hub members to permit fluid flow in a first direction and prevent fluid flow in a second reverse direction. The assembly is designed such that the nut member may be moved longitudinally along one of the hub sections to expose and permit removal of the insert member in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the hub sections. The nut member and insert are configured to cooperate with each other such that the insert may only be mounted in the assembly facing in a predetermined direction.
