A suspension system for an operator station of a vehicle having a chassis includes a subframe structure positioned between the operator station and the chassis. The subframe structure includes a plurality of mounting pads configured to support the operator station. A plurality of suspension assemblies are connected between the chassis and the subframe structure near each of the mounting pads. A first lateral rod is connected between the subframe structure near one of the mounting pads and the chassis. A first longitudinal rod is connected between the subframe structure near one of the mounting pads and the chassis. A stabilizer bar is connected between the subframe structure at two locations and the chassis. A roll control bar is connected between the subframe structure at two locations and the chassis.

Operator station suspension system

An operator station suspension system including a subframe structure with connection locations, isolators, and suspension components to couple the subframe structure to a chassis and enable movement of the subframe structure relative to the chassis. The subframe structure connects to an operator station at the connection locations with isolators between the subframe structure and operator station at each connection location to reduce noise and vibration. The isolators can be made of rubber, polymer or other materials. Each connection location can have a connection post, and the isolators can be ring-shaped to fit over the connection posts. The suspension components can include shock dampers that enable vertical movement, control linkages that enable pitch motion, and/or stabilizer linkages that enable roll motion of the subframe structure relative to the chassis. The subframe structure can include a rigid body with forward and rearward arms rigidly connected to the rigid body.

Operator station suspension isolation system

An operator station suspension system including isolators, a butterfly crossbar and station connection locations located on the butterfly crossbar. The butterfly crossbar includes a central crossbar that extends laterally with forward extending arms rigidly connected at the left and right ends, and rearward extending arms rigidly connected at the left and right ends of the central crossbar. The butterfly crossbar couples to the operator station at the station connection locations with one of the isolators located between the butterfly crossbar and the operator station at each of the station connection locations to reduce noise and vibration. Each connection location can have a connection post, and the isolators can be ring-shaped to fit over the connection posts. The suspension system can also include shock dampers for vertical movement, control linkages for pitch motion, and/or stabilizer linkages for roll motion of the subframe structure relative to the chassis.

A cabin suspension arrangement for a utility vehicle, having a plurality of trailing arms that extend in a longitudinal direction, by which a driver's cabin is mounted and can pivoted relative to a vehicle frame. Two of the trailing arms are arranged spaced apart from one another in a transverse direction that extends perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction, are connected to one another by a torsion bar spring that extends in the transverse direction, and are arranged at the same height in a vertical direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and to the transverse direction, thereby forming a first trailing arm pair. Two other trailing arms are arranged spaced apart from one another in the transverse direction, are arranged at the same height in the vertical direction, and thereby form a second trailing arm pair, which is spaced apart, in the vertical direction, from the first trailing arm pair.

Cab support arrangement for a utility vehicle

A suspension system for controlling multiple degrees of freedom of a cab of a vehicle has mounting pads that support the cab with a spring assembly connected between the chassis and each mounting pad, allowing the cab to move with multiple degrees of freedom. A lateral rod connects with one of the mounting pads, with the chassis, and restricts sideways motion of the cab. A longitudinal rod connects with one of the mounting pads, with the chassis, and restricts forward motion of the cab. A stabilizer bar connects with one of the front mounting pads, one of the rear mounting pads, the chassis structure, and controls forward pitch rate of the cab. A roll control bar connects with the rear mounting pads and the chassis structure, and controls lateral roll rate of the cab.

Multiple degree of freedom cab suspension system

An axle suspension supports an axle housing on a vehicle frame. The suspension includes left and right pivot rods attached to left and right frame members. A suspension arm has a first end fixed to a rear end of the axle housing and has a second end pivotally coupled to the left and right pivot rods. A variable length left hydraulic cylinder has an upper end pivotally coupled to the left frame member and has a lower end pivotally coupled to a front end of the axle housing. A variable length right hydraulic cylinder has an upper end pivotally coupled to the right frame member and has a lower end pivotally coupled to the front end of the axle housing. The left and right hydraulic cylinders are hydraulically connected in parallel.

Axle suspension

A vehicle is provided with an axle suspended from a main frame of the vehicle by right- and left-hand pairs of connecting rods. As viewed from the top, one of each of the right- and left-hand pairs of connecting rods crosses the other of the pair of rods, and, as viewed from the side, the right- and left-hand pairs of rods are disposed parallel to each other. This arrangement of the connecting rods results in the axle moving substantially vertically up and down during operation of vehicle over uneven terrain.

Suspended axle for sprayer

An agricultural tractor having a rear suspension with draft compensating geometry to control the compression or extension of the rear suspension in response to a draft load. The draft compensating suspension enables the tractor hitch to be mounted on the suspended frame or chassis of the tractor rather than mounting the hitch to a non-suspended beam axle or locking out the suspension during draft work. The draft load is applied to the chassis by a ground engaging implement. The tractive load and torque at the rear wheels are reacted through the side view instantaneous center of the rear suspension. The placement of the instantaneous center will determine the suspension reaction to the wheel load and torque. Locating the suspension instantaneous center on a line of 100% draft-compensation will eliminate the motion of the suspension due to the draft load. If the instantaneous center is located below the 100% draft-compensation line, the suspension will compress under a draft load. If the instantaneous center is located above the 100% draft-compensation line, the suspension will extend under a draft load. The distance between the instantaneous center and the 100% draft compensation line will determine the amount of compression or extension of the suspension.
