A support for thin plastic plant identifiers is configured with a ground engaging stake portion integrally formed with an elevating portion. Integrally formed with the elevating portion and canted rearwardly about 45&#xb0; is a retainer portion with two parallel engagement channels configured to receive the edges of an identifier. A transverse slot in the retainer portion slidably receives a tail of the plastic identifier.

Support for plastic plant identifiers

A conveyor roller and bearing arrangement rotatable about a pair of fixed stub axles lying between spaced side frame members includes a pair of self-aligning bearing assemblies in each end of the roller. Each bearing assembly includes an inner bearing race mounted on one of the stub axles, an outer bearing race rotatably mounted on the inner bearing race and an outer cushioning sleeve secured to the roller and outer bearing race for maintaining axial alignment between the inner and outer bearing races. A roller support assembly is positioned between the frame members to provide external support for the roller and cooperate with the bearing assemblies and stub axles to reduce the bending influence of the roller under loads.

A conveyor roller and bearing assembly designed to rotate around a fixed shaft in a conveyor frame is disclosed having a polymeric roller constructed and arranged to minimize the generation of production noise and static electricity, a polymeric spherical bearing capable of freely rotating within a shaft subjected to more than the normal degree of deflectional rotation while generating a minimum of friction and heat, and a spring loaded shaft designed for easy installation in a conveyor frame.

Conveyor roller and bearing assembly

A polymeric grease gun comprising a tubular body of polymeric material which defines a chamber for containing grease, a forward end cap having a grease pump, pump lever and a nozzle, a polymeric rear end cap, and a plunger for urging grease forward into the chamber, where the end caps are secured to the tubular body by means of lugs at each end of the tube which engage blind-ended arcuate slots in the leading edge of the end caps so that the caps are retained on the body against an internal axial force which tends to separate the caps from the body. The caps are also secured on the tubular body by means of springing members extending from the ends of the tubular body which engage corresponding portions of the end caps so that the springing members are resiliently held against the interior of the caps.

Polymeric grease gun

A conveyor roller and bearing arrangement rotatable about a fixed axle lying between spaced side frame rails includes a pair of self-aligning bearing assemblies in each end of the roller. Each bearing assembly includes an inner bearing race fixed to the axle, an outer bearing race rotatably mounted on the inner bearing race and an outer cushioning sleeve secured to the roller and outer bearing race for maintaining axial alignment between the inner and outer bearing races.

A carrier roller for use in a conveyor chain, including a bushing adapted to be mounted on a shaft. A resilient roller tire, having a tread, is rotatably mounted over the bushing. A load-limiting annular disk is rotatably mounted over the bushing adjacent the resilient roller tire and includes means for limiting the amount of radial load to be supported by the resilient roller tire.

Conveyor chain having carrier rollers

A carrier roller comprising (1) an integral roller tire subassembly comprising a cylindrical bearing, two axial inserts, and a molded resilient roller tire and (2) an inner race. In one embodiment, the carrier roller further comprises (3) a roller bushing seal and (4) a labyrinth ring and may further comprise (5) a roller collar. A second embodiment may comprise only the basic components or may further comprise a roller collar. In both embodiments, the roller tire is preferably molded to include a guiding flange, and it is preferably molded from a synthetic material such as urethane.
