An arrangement for interconnecting high density signals of integrated circuits provides minimal cross-talk, low noise and controlled impedance. A thermally conductive baseplate is used to support integrated circuit die in a multi-layered substrate. The integrated circuit die are thermally coupled to the baseplate, and the multi-layered substrate includes apertures therethrough for receiving the integrated circuit die. Tape automated bonding is used to connect leads on the integrated circuit die with conductors disposed on layers in the substrate. Other aspects of the arrangement include providing a power flex-connector and a signal flex-connector to connect the multi-layered substrate to an external power source and to a printed circuit board, respectively. To further minimize noise interference, the multi-layered substrate includes separate power and ground layers which are adjacent to one another.

Module for interconnecting integrated circuits

A mounting means for apparatus useful for processing infrared signals including a pyroelectric detector array with a plurality of detector elements, a plurality of electrically conductive epoxy polymer mounting means having two ends and attached at one end to the detector array to provide individual electrical contact for each of the detector elements. The apparatus further includes circuit means attached to the other end of the mounting means for processing electrical signals from the array.

Mounting for pyroelectric detecctor arrays

A circuit for removing the DC or background representing charge component of a signal to be retrieved from a charge-coupled device to individually compensate for variations of each charge-coupled device circuit. A threshold gate is interposed in a charge flow path between a charge integrating well and an output charge transfer gate. The threshold gate is connected to a potential level which is automatically adjusted to compensate for DC variations in a fixed level of the charge to be extracted from the integrating well. A feedback connection between the threshold gate and the integrating well adjusts the potential level during the integration of a reference charge between the integration of an information signal charge.
