An aggregate xerographic photoconductor having light sensitive squarylium dye and a binder for said dye is chosen from a mixture of bisphenol molecules to form a noncrystalline, nonpolymeric product. A layered photoconductor utilizing this generation layer formulation in conjunction with a hole transporting surface layer is described.

An organic photoconductor comprising a charge generation layer and on top thereof a charge transport layer having a higher concentration of charge transport molecules nearer the charge generation layer than in the topmost portion.

Organic photoconductors with improved wear

A substantially aqueous composition for drop on demand ink jet printing comprising a fluid vehicle with greater than 50% by weight water, a water soluble dye in the range of 1-10% by weight, a lower alkylene glycol plasticizer in the range of concentration of 1-20% by weight, and in the range of 1-10% by weight, a water soluble additive which is a low molecular weight heterocyclic, bifunctional monomer or dimer in which the two functional groups are either two imide groups, or a hydantoin bearing a carboxylic acid group, with both the imide groups and the amide groups being capped with hydroxyalkylene units.

Ink composition for drop-on-demand ink jet

An ink jet printing ink is first formulated in concentrated form, and in this form it is subjected to stressful operating conditions such as an elevated temperature. This stress causes particle formation. After filtration to remove these particles, the final ink formulation is prepared, including for the first time ingredients which inhibit particle formation.
