Provided are devices, compositions, and methods for surface disinfection and decontamination; the devices generally adapted to contain a single or multi-component indicator composition, and optionally a disinfectant composition, and to dispense the indicator composition and optional disinfectant composition to a disinfectant solution, a surface, or a disinfectant article upon actuation of the device; also provided is an article of manufacture in the form of a removable cartridge adapted to fit a device described here, which may be pre-filled with a single or multi-component indicator composition as described here, and/or with a disinfectant composition, and one or more optional additives.

Devices, compositions, and methods for use in surface decontamination

A speech assistance device includes: an adaptor defining a first end and a second end, a first end of the adaptor configured to cover and seal directly or indirectly against a tracheal stoma defined in a neck of a user, the adaptor comprising a compressible material; a reed module connected to the adaptor, the reed module including a reed configured to produce sound using air expelled by the user from the stoma; and a tube coupled to the reed module, the tube configured to be inserted into a mouth of the user.

Speech assistance device and method

Devices are provided for applying an indicator composition and, optionally, a disinfectant composition to an article being dispensed through the device. The device includes a housing at least partially surrounding an interior volume and having a wall defining a dispensing aperture extending through the wall, a reservoir having at least one chamber sized to contain an indicator composition, and an application mechanism positioned within the housing relative to the dispensing aperture. The reservoir optionally has a second chamber sized to contain a disinfectant composition. The application mechanism is configured to be in fluid communication with the reservoir to apply an amount of the indicator composition and the optional disinfectant composition from the reservoir to an article dispensed through the dispensing aperture.
