Methods and systems are provided for supporting keyword searches of data items in a structured database, such as a relational database. Selected data items are retrieved using an SQL query or other mechanism. The retrieved data values are documented using a markup language such as HTML. The documents are indexed using a web crawler or other indexing agent. Data items may be selected for indexing by identifying them in a data dictionary. The indexing agent produces an index that associates keywords with resource locators such as URLs, hot links, file paths, or distinguished names. After a user provides a keyword to a search engine interface, the index is used to obtain a resource locator that is associated with the keyword. The resource locator is used to retrieve the item's current data from the structured database. A document containing the retrieved data is then generated and provided to the user.

Keyword searches of structured databases

A therapeutic system particularly suited for strengthening the hip extensor muscles of a user is described. The vehicle combines the therapeutic benefits of conditioning the hip extensor muscles with the enjoyable activity of propelling oneself on a wheeled vehicle. A frame is provided following the general pattern of a tricycle with one steerable wheel and a pair of driving wheels. A seat, a back rest, and at least one strap for holding the user in position on the seat and the back rest are also provided. These user support structures securely hold the user in the proper operating position, even when the user has less than normal muscular control and strength, such as with children with cerebral palsy. Structures are included for receiving at least a portion of the user's leg between the user's knee and the user's hip and for transmitting the extension motion of the user's hips into the rotational movement of the pair of driving wheels. Substantially only the hip extensor group of muscles of the user are used to propel the vehicle.

Muscle powered therapeutic vehicle

A system, including apparatus and method, for modifying an existing venetian blind so as to maintain a desired portion of the slats in an open or horizontal position, while simultaneously maintaining the remaining portion of slats in a closed or slanted position. The invention provides for a clip and a method of using the same, the clip being attached to one tilt string and the lift string of the blind to prevent movement of both relative to each other below the clip. The second tilt string of the blind is encompassed loosely by the clip, but remains free to move vertically up and down.
