Embodiments described herein perform incisions along the direction of the long axis of the waveguide, thereby exposing a trench structure which can be readily plated. Once divided and plated, the individual cut pieces can then be secured together to restore the original waveguide structure. In this fashion, multiple cut pieces can be secured together and used as 'building blocks' to create a modular solution which can be used to provide a number of different customizable waveguide structures. Thus, embodiments described herein can perform plating procedures in a less expensive manner while achieving the benefits of ganged waveguide structures. Moreover, embodiments described herein can offer a modular approach to ganged waveguide design thereby allowing for end-user flexibility in testing.

A walking cane with enhanced security features designed for use by a user to facilitate walking on a ground surface is provided. The walking cane includes a housing having a tubular member with a front face, a rear face and a pair of side faces, a handle coupled to the rear face of the housing, and a camera disposed within the internal cavity of the housing and having a lens that protrudes out the front face of the tubular member. The handle is grasped by the user to facilitate walking on the ground surface while the camera activates to simultaneously generate video of the surrounding area of the cane for a later retrieval.

The magnetic junction resides on a substrate and is usable in a magnetic device. The magnetic junction includes a reference layer, a nonmagnetic spacer layer and a M-containing oxide layer adjacent to the free layer. M includes at least one of Ti, Al, Hf, Zr, Mo, V and Nb. The free layer is switchable between a plurality of stable magnetic states when a write current is passed through the magnetic junction. The nonmagnetic spacer layer is between the reference layer and the free layer. The free layer is between the nonmagnetic spacer layer and the M-containing oxide layer.

Method and system for providing magnetic junctions utilizing metal oxide layer(s)

Embodiments of the present disclosure utilize customizable waveguide fabrication technologies (e.g., 3D printer technology) and patch antenna arrays to create adaptable wave interfaces that can provide efficient signal routing for an ATE system. In this fashion, embodiments of the present disclosure allow for arbitrary waveguide routing from port to port and create high density port spacing at the PCB level and which specifically eliminates the large flange required of prior art waveguides. Furthermore, embodiments include the ability to integrate different waveguide components, including power splitters, couplers, terminations, etc., into a single structure. Thus, embodiments of the present disclosure can reduce signal path losses and simplify the mechanical construction of ATE systems while eliminating the need for coax cables and minimizing the length of PCB microstrips.

Wave interface assembly for automatic test equipment for semiconductor testing

Embodiments of the present disclosure use customizable waveguides that can be positioned next to each other in a structure that contains one single flange to provide a physical connection for the waveguides. In this fashion, many waveguides can be positioned within a small area to accommodate a tightly packed patch antenna array so that the waveguides can be positioned very close to the socket. As such, embodiments of the present disclosure allow more waveguides to be packed into a small area by providing a single structure that houses many waveguides and share only a single flange connection element that can be sized appropriately.

A magnetic device and method for providing the magnetic device junction are described. The magnetic device includes magnetic junctions and spin-orbit interaction (SO) active layer(s). The magnetic junction includes a pinned layer, a perpendicular enhancement layer (PEL), an insertion layer between the pinned layer and PEL, a free layer and a nonmagnetic spacer layer between the PEL and free layer. The insertion layer includes at least one magnetic material and at least one high crystallization temperature nonmagnetic material. The PEL is between the insertion layer and the nonmagnetic spacer layer. The free layer is switchable between a plurality of stable magnetic states. The PEL and free and pinned layers each has a perpendicular magnetic anisotropy energy greater than its out-of-plane demagnetization energy. The SO active layer(s) are adjacent to the free layer, carry a current in-plane and exert a SO torque on the free layer due to the current.

Method and system for providing magnetic junctions utilizing high crystallization temperature-containing insertion layer(s)

A magnetic junction usable in a magnetic device and a method for providing the magnetic junction are described. A first portion of a magnetoresistive stack corresponding to the magnetic junction is provided. Providing this portion of the magnetoresistive stack includes providing at least one layer for a free layer of the magnetic junction. A second portion of the magnetoresistive stack is provided after the step of providing the first portion of the magnetoresistive stack. The magnetoresistive stack is patterned to provide the magnetic junction after the step of providing the second portion of the magnetoresistive stack. An ambient temperature for the magnetoresistive stack and the magnetic junction does not exceed a crystallization temperature of the free layer after the step of providing the free layer through the step of patterning the magnetoresistive stack. The magnetic junction is annealed at an anneal temperature not less than the crystallization temperature after the step of patterning the magnetoresistive stack.

Method and system for providing a magnetic junction usable in spin transfer torque applications using a post-pattern anneal

A structure for signal transmission is disclosed. The structure comprises a first plurality of waveguides tightly disposed together and disposed substantially in parallel with each other, each of said waveguides having a first opening and a second opening, wherein each first opening is operable to align with a patch antenna, and wherein the first plurality of waveguides is disposed adjacent to a socket. The integrated structure further comprises the socket which comprises an opening operable to support an insertion of a device under test (DUT), wherein the DUT is communicatively coupled to a plurality of microstrip transmission lines on a printed circuit board (PCB) underlying the socket for transmitting test signals from the DUT, wherein each of the microstrip transmission lines is electrically coupled to a respective patch antenna. Further, the first plurality of waveguides and the socket are integrated into a single plastic or metal structure.

A uniquely designed stent delivery catheter includes a central lumen through which a guide wire travels. The central lumen is provided with a valve means that is operable by the guide wire and when moved into a closed position by withdrawal of the guide wire, functions to prevent the flow of loose debris toward the proximal end of the catheter.

The leg support and inclined back support assemblies permit the wheelchair patient to shift positions and achieve a greater degree of comfort than is provided by the standard wheelchair back and foot supports.
