This disclosure relates to a catalyst composition that can prepare polyolefin having high molecular weight, a method for preparing the same, and a method for preparing polyolefin using the same. The dinuclear metallocene compound included in the catalyst composition according to the present invention is a dinuclear metallocene compound with a new structure, and, unlike a single-site catalyst, has high accessibility to a substrate, and thus, can provide a multi-site catalyst with high activity.

Catalyst composition, a method for preparing the same, and a method for preparing polyolefin using the same

The present invention relates to a polyolefin having a molecular weight distribution of 1.5 to 3.0 and having a branch gradient number (BGN) of 0.01 to 1.0. According to the present invention, there is provided the polyolefin having a narrow molecular weight distribution and showing a unique comonomer distribution to have excellent impact strength and mechanical physical properties.

The present invention relates to a method of preparing an olefin-based polymer including a step of polymerizing an olefin monomer in the presence of a catalyst composition including a cis isomer and a trans isomer. According to the method of preparing an olefin-based polymer according to an embodiment of the present invention, similar level of density and molecular weight may be exhibited with a relatively smaller amount of octene when compared to that of a common polymer. Thus, a stable olefin-based polymer having good copolymerization properties may be prepared.

The present invention discloses a transition metal compound having a novel structure and including a heteroatom, a catalyst composition including the same, and a method for preparing polymers using the same. The transition metal compound according to an embodiment of the present invention has good copolymerization properties, and a polymer having a low density may be prepared using thereof. Thus, a copolymer having various uses may be prepared.
