There is provided a plurality of injection stations, wherein each one of the injection stations, independently, comprising: a housing; a port extending through the housing; a flow control member configured for displacement for effecting at least opening of the port such that, when the injection station is integrated within a wellbore string that is disposed within a wellbore of a subterranean formation, and treatment fluid is being supplied through a wellbore string passage of the wellbore string, injection of the supplied treatment fluid into the subterranean formation is effected through the port; and a deployable seat, mounted to the housing, and including an aperture, and configured such that, when the seat is deployed in a deployed position, the seat is configured for receiving a respective plug for seating of the respective plug over the aperture of the seat; such that a plurality of plugs are respective to the injection stations, wherein each one of the plugs is respective to a deployable seat of a one of the injection stations, such that each one of the plugs is respective to a one of the injection stations.

Apparatuses and methods for enabling multistage hydraulic fracturing

There is provided a flow control apparatus including a housing, a port, a flow control member, a sensor, and a trigger. The housing includes a housing passage. The port extends through the housing. The flow control member includes a fluid responsive surface, and is configured for displacement, relative to the port, such that fluid communication is effected between the port and the housing passage. The sensor is coupled to the housing for sensing an actuating signal. The trigger is configured for effecting fluid communication between the housing passage and the fluid responsive surface, in response to the sensing of an actuating signal by the sensor, for effecting displacement of the flow control member.

Electrically actuated downhole flow control apparatus

A downhole tool deployable within a wellbore for controlling the supply of treatment to fluid to a reservoir is disclosed. The downhole tool includes a housing defining a passage and a port extending through the housing. The housing includes a seat that is configured for displacement into a plug-receiving position for receiving a plug that is deployed through the passage. A key profile for effecting actuation of the seat to the plug-receiving position in response to registration of the key profile with a matching key on the plug being deployed through the passage is provided. The downhole tool further includes a flow control member configured for displacement relative to the port in response to application of a sufficient net force effected by a fluid pressure differential that is created by supplying pressurized fluid to the passage while the plug is deployed on the seat.

Plug-actuated flow control member

A bottomhole assembly for deployment within a wellbore string disposed within a wellbore. The assembly comprises a first mandrel; a second mandrel including a locator for becoming disposed within a locate profile of the wellbore string; a shifting tool including a first gripper surface and a second gripper surfaces; a first shifting tool actuator and a second shifting tool actuator that are translatable with the first mandrel. The shifting tool is displaceable in response to urging by the first shifting tool actuator and the second shifting tool actuator to become disposed in gripping engagement with a flow control member. The second mandrel includes a retainer for limiting displacement of the shifting tool, relative to second mandrel, in both downhole and uphole directions.

Apparatus and method for treating a reservoir using re-closeable sleeves, and actuating the sleeves with bi-directional slips

There is provided a downhole flow control apparatus comprising: a housing; a port extending through the housing; a passage disposed within the housing for conducting material to and from the port; a flow control member displaceable relative to the port; and a flow control member actuator configured for producing a pressurized fluid for urging the displacement of the flow control member.

There is provided a method of stimulating a formation within a wellbore that is lined with a wellbore string, the wellbore string including a port and a flow control member, wherein the flow control member is displaceable relative to the port for effecting opening and closing of the port. The port is opened by displacing the flow control member in response to an applied pressure differential across a sealing interface. The port is closed by displacing the flow control member with hydraulic hold down buttons prior to removing the sealing interface and effecting pressure equalization.

Apparatus, system and method for treating a reservoir using re-closeable sleeves and novel use of a shifting tool

A downhole tool deployable within a wellbore for controlling the supply of treatment to fluid to a reservoir is disclosed. The downhole tool includes a housing defining a passage and a port extending through the housing. The housing includes a seat that is configured for deployment to a plug-receiving position for receiving a plug that is deployed through the passage. A key profile for effecting actuation of the seat to the plug-receiving position in response to registration of the key profile with a matching key on the plug being deployed through the passage is provided. The downhole tool further includes a flow control member configured for displacement relative to the port in response to application of a sufficient net force effected by a fluid pressure differential that is created by supplying pressurized fluid to the passage while the plug is deployed on the seat.

There is provided a locator configured for coupling to a workstring for locating a wellbore feature, The locator includes a protrusible member, a chamber, a hydraulic fluid supplying passage, and a hydraulic fluid supply source. The protrusible member is moveable, relative to the workstring, and biased for disposition, relative to the workstring, in an extended position. In the extended position, the protrusible member is engageable with the wellbore feature. The first chamber is disposed in fluid pressure communication with the protrusible member, and has a volume configured to change correspondingly with a change in position of the protrusible member such that expansion of the first chamber corresponds with an extension of the protrusible member and such that contraction of the first chamber corresponds with a retraction of the protrusible member. The hydraulic fluid supply source is fluidly coupled to the first chamber via the hydraulic fluid supplying passage. The hydraulic fluid supply source is configured to supply hydraulic fluid to the first chamber in response to an expansion in volume of the first chamber that is effected by the extension of the protrusible member.

Hydraulic locator

A bottomhole assembly for deployment within a wellbore is disclosed. The wellbore string includes a port and a flow control member, wherein the latter is displaceable to open and close the port. The flow control member comprises a first mandrel; a second mandrel including a locator for disposition within a locate profile of the wellbore string to resist displacement of the second mandrel, relative to the locate profile, and locating the bottomhole assembly within the wellbore string. A shifting tool is disclosed, the shifting tool including two gripper surfaces; and two shifting tool actuators, translatable with the first mandrel. The shifting tool actuators displace the shifting tool by displacing the first mandrel downhole or uphole relative to the second mandrel; and the second mandrel includes a retainer for limiting displacement of the shifting tool, relative to second mandrel, in both of downhole and uphole directions.

There is provided a flow control apparatus comprising: a housing; a port extending through the housing; a housing passage defined within the housing and configured for fluidly communicating via the port; a flow control member displaceable relative to the port for effecting opening and closing of the port; a retainer housing space, disposed between the housing and the flow control member, and co-operating with the flow control member such that, at least while the flow control member is disposed in the closed position, a sealing interface is disposed between the retainer housing space and the housing passage; and a resilient retainer member, extending from the housing and into the retainer housing space, and configured to releasably engage the flow control member for resisting displacement of the flow control member.

Apparatus and method for treating a reservoir using re-closeable sleeves

There is provided a valve apparatus for disposition within a wellbore that is disposed within a subterranean formation, wherein the valve apparatus includes a housing including: (a) an outermost surface, (b) a fluid passage defined within the housing, (c) a port extending through the housing for effecting fluid communication between the reservoir and the fluid passage, (d) a first groove disposed on the outermost surface and defining a first fluid channel, for conducting reservoir fluid to the port, and extending from an outermost surface portion of the outermost surface to the port, wherein the minimum distance between the outermost surface portion and the port is at least two (2) inches, and a closure member displaceable relative to the port for effecting opening and closing of the port.
