A child resistant closure for use on a container that include an inner closure member having a threaded portion and an outer closure member coupled to the inner closure member for axial translation there between. A series of engagement features extend between the inner and outer closure to permit selective engagement of the outer closure to the inner closure to effect removal of the child resistant closure. The outer closure includes a diaphragm member disposed along the distal end surface of the outer closure. The diaphragm member is inwardly directed and contacts the inner closure member thereby biasing the outer closure member into an operationally disengaged position.

A child resistant closure for use on a container that include an inner closure member having a threaded portion and an inclined surface, and an outer closure member coupled to the inner closure member for axial translation therebetween. A series of engagement features extend between the inner and outer closure to permit selective engagement of the outer closure to the inner closure to effect removal of the child resistant closure. The outer closure includes at least one finger spring member being inwardly directed and contacting the inclined surface of the inner closure member, thereby biasing the outer closure member into an operationally disengaged position. A fluid dispenser contains a fluid and selectively delivers the fluid orally to a subject. The fluid dispenser includes a main body defining a vessel that contains the fluid. The fluid dispenser also includes a dispensing portion that extends from the main body. The dispensing portion defines a passage therethrough that is in fluid communication with the vessel. The passage terminates at a dispenser opening through which the fluid exits the passage and flows into the mouth of the subject. Moreover, the fluid dispenser includes a tongue depressor that extends from the dispensing portion. The tongue depressor is operable to depress the tongue of the subject while the fluid is dispensed into the mouth of the subject.

A liquid dispensing apparatus includes a container having a compressible section and a tip section extending from the compressible section. The compressible section is compressible in response to actuation. The dispensing apparatus further includes a nozzle member coupled to the container that includes an orifice. Finally, the dispensing apparatus includes a fluidic channel providing fluid communication between the volume and the orifice that includes a spin chamber for imparting a spinning motion to the liquid to atomize the liquid prior to urging the liquid out of the orifice.

A closure configured to be engaged with a container, wherein the closure includes a cap and a twist ring. According to aspects of the disclosure, the cap may include: a generally cylindrical main body, a lid, a sidewall extending substantially perpendicularly from the lid, a hinge which allows the lid to pivot between a closed position and an open position, and a lift tab configured to protrude outwardly from the cap. According to aspects of the disclosure, the twist ring may be configured to extend around the cap. Further the twist ring may include: a generally cylindrical main body, a rim extending in a substantially horizontal plane and a sidewall extending substantially vertically from the rim. According to aspects of the disclosure, the twist ring may be configured to be rotated in order to be positioned to selectively prevent the lid of the cap from being pivoted from the closed position to the open position.

Closure

A container assembly including a container and a cap disposed on the container. The cap is moveable between a closed condition and an open condition. The cap has two opposing side wall regions and an end region disposed between the two opposing side wall regions. At least one of the side wall regions has a container-engaging portion moveable between a closed position where the container-engaging portion engages the container to resist opening of the cap, and a second position where the container-engaging portion is disengaged from the container to allow opening of the cap. The end region of the cap is in a snap-fit relationship with the container. Also included is a cap having these features.

A container for use with a closure is provided, and includes a receptacle, a neck extending therefrom, a closure-engaging thread segment arranged on the neck of the container to engage the closure thread segment arranged on the closure, and a plurality of spaced apart protrusions protruding radially toward the closure from the neck of the container, the plurality of spaced apart protrusions forming a protrusion pattern that has a composite orientation that is helically opposite that of the closure-engaging thread segment to engage and to separate the frangible tamper-evident band portion from the closure when the closure is rotated off of the neck. With this structure, the closure and container system provides an improved anti-backoff, tamper evident closure and container system that reduces torque used to initially apply the closure to the container and improves reliably by reducing stress on the component parts, while desirably preventing backoff from occurring.

A bottle for packaging beverages for individual use, comprising a wide mouth container and a closure lid; the container having a neck with a circular opening; the closure lid having a concentric inner skirt and outer skirt; the container and the closure lid having corresponding fastening means for opening and closing the container; the corresponding fastening means respectively located on an inner circumferential area of the circular opening of the neck and on an outer circumference of the inner skirt; the outer circumferential area of the neck being smooth; the outer diameter of the neck being equal to the inner diameter of the outer skirt, wherein the outer skirt covers and protects the smooth outer circumferential area of the neck when the closure lid is fastened to the container, the environment outside the bottle.
