A credential caching system includes receiving a set of authentication credentials, storing the set of authentication credentials in a credential cache memory, wherein the credential cache memory is coupled with a management controller, and supplying the set of authentication credentials for automatic authentication during a reset or reboot. In the event of a security breach, the credential caching system clears the set of authentication credentials from the credential cache memory so that the set of authentication credentials may no longer be used for a reset or reboot.

A system and method of enabling use of software applications using stored software licensing information is disclosed. In one form, a method of enabling use of a software application is disclosed. The method can include accessing a first software licensing information of a first software application within a non-volatile memory of an information handling system. The first licensing information can be stored in association with an order fulfillment process. The method can also include executing an initialization routine in association with a BIOS of the information handling system. In one form, the initialization routine can be operable to initiate accessing the software licensing information from the non-volatile memory to enable use of the first software application.

Credential security system

A system and method for providing a fuel dispenser with radio frequency customer identification capabilities. The system and method determines whether a transponder containing customer identification data is within range of a dispenser, the dispenser requiring activation by the customer to initiate a transaction and including a reader associated therewith for emitting radio frequency signals within the dispenser range, and for receiving customer identification data from the transponder responsive to the emitted radio frequency signals received by the transponder. When the transponder is within range of the dispenser, an in-range indication is provided to the customer. A determination is made whether the dispenser has been activated by the customer following a determination that the transponder is within the dispenser range. Upon activation of the dispenser following the determination that the transponder is within the dispenser range, the customer identification data received by the reader is associated with a transaction at the activated dispenser, whereupon the transaction at the activated dispenser is permitted and charged to the customer according to the customer identification data. The system easily retrofits onto an existing, conventional fuel dispenser.

Dispensing system and method with radio frequency customer identification

A system and computer-implemented method of providing an incentive for a customer to purchase non-fuel products or services at a store that sells the products or services and fuel. The system detects that the customer purchased a number of non-fuel products or services in a first visit to the store, and provides the customer with a first reward entitling the customer to a first amount of free fuel. The system then detects that the customer purchased a number of non-fuel products or services in a second visit to the store, and provides the customer with a second reward entitling the customer to a second amount of free fuel. The customer is identified during a subsequent fueling transaction, and the system dispenses an amount of free fuel to the customer equal to the total of the first and second amounts of free fuel.

An integrated customer reward processing system and fuel dispensing apparatus to allow a retailer to authorize fuel to be dispensed at a discounted unit price in accordance with a customer's achievement of predefined purchasing criteria. Adjustable price fuel dispensing system

The dispensing system (,) includes a vapor recovery system (,) for recovering fuel vapors responsive to a fuel being dispensed. The vapor recovery system (,) has a disabling mechanism (,) for selectively preventing its operation. The dispensing system (,) also includes an antenna (,A,,B,,A,,B) for detecting a radio frequency signal from a transmitter (,or,) in a vehicle (,). The radio frequency signal may be a single bit indicating that the vehicle (,) has the ORVR system, or may include additional bits indicating a type of fuel to be dispensed. When the transmitter (,or,) is within a predetermined distance from the antenna (,A,,B,,A,,B), a controller (,) receives the radio frequency signal from the antenna (,A,,B,,A,,B) and asserts a disable signal (,). The disabling mechanism, responsive to the asserted disable signal (,), prevents the vapor recovery system (,) from operating and thereby eliminates any unwanted accumulation of air.
