The subject matter of the invention is a zone for the interactive presentation of an object comprising a user interface, a processing unit and a robotic arm. A user chooses a command by means of the user interface. The latter will transmit the chosen command to the processing unit. Said processing unit will make the chosen command correspond to a predetermined sequence stored in its storage memory. The processing unit will next cause a robotic arm to execute said sequence. Said robotic arm will execute said sequence, the consequence of which will be the initiation of a demonstration of the object displayed.

A wireless electronic device includes a rechargeable battery, a receiver, and a shut down module. The rechargeable battery is at least partially charged. The receiver is configured to enable wireless communications for the wireless device. The receiver is capable of receiving wireless commands configured to cause corresponding functions to be performed in the wireless electronic device, which may include test functions, calibration functions, and shut down functions. The shut down module is configured to cause the wireless electronic device to initiate a shut down protocol according to a shut down command received by the receiver.

Entering a battery power down mode using over-the-air command for wireless devices

Techniques are provided for selecting a charge current to be sunk by a mobile electronic device. A charging device is received at a connector of the mobile electronic device. The charging device is configured to supply a charge current to a rechargeable battery of the mobile electronic device. One or more data signals is/are received from the charging device at an interface circuit of the mobile electronic device on one or more data signal lines through the connector. One or more control signals are applied to the interface circuit to enable data signal values to be generated for the data signal(s) based on the control signal(s) and a type of the charging device. The data signal values are mapped to a maximum charge current for the rechargeable battery. The charge current supplied by the charging device to the rechargeable battery is limited to the selected maximum charge current.
