The avionic system of an aircraft includes a set of avionic computers and a switch associated with each avionic computer. For each avionic computer of the set of avionic computers, the avionic system includes a communication link between the switch associated with this avionic computer and each of the switches associated with the other avionic computers. Each switch is configured such that it routes the data frames received on its input ports to its output ports in a manner predefined only on the basis of the input ports on which these data frames are received. The various switches are configured such that, when an avionic computer sends a data frame, this data frame is transmitted to all of the other avionic computers.

System and method to generate automatically a compact application code suitable for taking advantage of the intrinsic power of processors. The system can generate the application code executable by a processor from a formal specification associated with an application, the formal specification including operators, and the system including an analyzer to code each operator of the formal specification by a corresponding operation code followed by a minimum number of input code(s) and output code identifying input and output parameters associated with the operator, thus automatically generating a compact application code suitable for being stored in a memory associated with the processor and for being executed by an interpreter of the processor.

A communication network on board a vehicle is a deterministic switched Ethernet network using virtual links, which includes a set of links, a set of subscribers and at least one switch containing a static configuration table that can be configured according to virtual links passing through this switch. This switch is integrated in a subscriber from the set of subscribers and is connected to the subscriber so as to enable communications between the subscriber and at least one other subscriber of the communication network. The switch includes at least three external communication ports (PEPE, PE) and the communication network is configured according to a mesh topology such that this switch is connected to at least three other entities corresponding to subscribers and/or switches of the communication network.
