The invention relates to a rigid or semirigid plastic part designed to form the bottom of a package whose side wall consists of a laminated film. The plastic part has a central axis and includes the following features: a peripheral welding zone designed to contact and be welded to the inside surface of the side wall; a convex inside face and a concave outside face; the inside face and the outside face each comprise a zone whose centre is on the axis and which is designed to contact a tool used to attach the part to the side wall; and a profile at least partially defined by a curve. The invention also relates to a package having a bottom consisting of the plastic part.

The invention relates to a device for moulding a plastic article in which the article is obtained by the compression of a quantity of plastic material () in the molten state between the two parts of a mould, comprising at least one supply of plastic material (), a rod (), sliding in a sleeve () suitable for temporarily supporting said quantity of plastic material (), a mould for the head of the article () and a mandrel () cooperating with said mould (), characterized in that it comprises non-elastic retaining means (-) which are suitable for limiting the bidirectional displacement of the rod () in the sleeve (). The invention relates to a plastic metering system in a device for producing plastic articles, comprising a metering unit () forming a block () comprising a material feed duct (), a metering cavity () which may communicate with the said material feed duct (), a material outlet orifice () placed on a wall of the said metering cavity (), and a valve () in the form of a cylindrical rod designed to slide through and close off the said material outlet orifice (), characterized in that the metering unit () furthermore includes a piston () mounted so as to slide coaxially around the valve () so as to allow the volume of the metering cavity () to be varied and the material feed duct () to be momentarily closed off. The invention also relates to a method for using the said system.
