The invention relates to a method for producing a vascular endoprosthesis for insertion into a natural cavity of a person's body. The method is based on a three-dimensional model including a main channel, at least one branch of the channel extending from the main channel, and an intersection between the main channel and the branch of the channel. The method includes producing an imprint structure which is designed to follow a shape of the main channel, the imprint structure comprising at least one location corresponding to the intersection of the three-dimensional model, placing a reinforcement at the location of the imprint structure, producing a wall using the imprint structure, the prosthesis wall being made of polymer, a window or a branch of the prosthesis being produced at the location, producing the vascular endoprosthesis including the window or branch of the prosthesis.

Method for automated production of a vascular endoprosthesis

A prosthetic sternum device with a manubrium includes a plate and a device for attachment to ribs. Each of the devices for attachment to ribs includes an end for rigid connection to the plate and an end provided with a device for engaging with a rib. The plate further includes, in the upper region of same, two elements. Each element rigidly connects a pin and includes a polyaxial joint shaped to allow the multidirectional mobility of the pin.

The invention relates to an endoprosthesis (), in particular a vascular or cardiac endoprosthesis (), having a body () and also one or more thrombogenic elements () that are fixed to the endoprosthesis () and that are able to extend a distance away from the body outside the latter. The endoprosthesis comprises means () for selectively retaining the thrombogenic elements near the body (). The release of the one or more thrombogenic elements, after the endoprosthesis has been fitted in place by a conventional method via a sheath, promotes thrombosis.
