The invention relates to a glass panel including at least two layers deposited by cathode sputtering, including at least one layer of a metal oxide, suboxide, nitride or oxynitride having a refractive index which is not lower than 2.2 and, stacked directly or indirectly on top of said layer, at least one layer consisting of mixed oxides of titanium and at least one other metal, said mixed oxides having a weight proportion of titanium oxide which is not less than 40% and not greater than 95%, the thickness of the layer in question and that of the other layer(s) having a refractive index greater than 2.2 being selected such that, on a 4-mm thick sheet of clear 'float' glass, said layer(s) result(s) in a reflection of at least 15% and a light transmission of at least 60%, the layer or system of layers in question further having a mechanical and/or chemical resistance comparable to those of layers produced by pyrolysis for obtaining products having the same type of optical properties.

The invention relates to a glass panel, including at least one reflective layer deposited by cathode sputtering, said layer consisting of one or more oxides of one of the metals including Ta, Nb, Zr or the mixed oxides of said metals, the thickness of the layer in question and optionally other layers present in the assembly having a refractive index greater than 2.2 being selected such that, on a 4-mm thick sheet of clear 'float' glass, said layer(s) result(s) in a reflection of at least 15% and a light transmission of at least 60%, the layer or system of layers in question further having a mechanical and/or chemical resistance comparable to those of layers produced by pyrolysis for obtaining products having the same type of optical properties.

High-reflection glass panel

The invention relates to a glazing that comprises at least one layer deposited by cathodic spraying under vacuum, said layer containing one or more oxides and a proportion in weight of titanium oxide of at least 40% and not exceeding 95%. The thickness of the layer in question and optionally the thickness of the other layers containing metal oxide is/are selected so that on a clear 'float' glass sheet having a thickness of 4 mm, said layer(s) would yield a reflection of at least 15% and a light transmission of at least 60%. The layer or layer system in question further has a mechanical and/or chemical resistance comparable to that of layers produced by pyrolysis for obtaining products having the same kind of optical properties.

High reflection glazing

The present invention relates a colored soda-lime glass which comprises iron in a quantity which, expressed in weight of the oxide FeOin relation to the total weight of glass, is greater than or equal to 0.5%, and less than or equal to 1.0 % (quantity of total iron), a ratio of Fe2+/total Fe (redox ratio) in the range of between 20 and 65 % and titanium in a quantity which, expressed in weight of TiOin relation to the total weight of glass, is greater than or equal to 1.0 %. This glass has a light transmission (TLA4) in the range of between 15 and 55 %, a total transmission in the ultraviolet (TUV4) of less than or equal to%, and a dominant wavelength in transmission &#x3bb;D of less than or equal to 491 nm. This glass can be used, for example, as side glazing, rear-view window, roof glazing or opening roof of a motor vehicle.

Coloured soda-lime glass

The present invention relates to a colored soda-lime glass which comprises iron in a quantity which, expressed in weight of the oxide FeOin relation to the total weight of glass, is greater than or equal to 0.5%, and less than or equal to 1.0% (quantity of total iron), a ratio of Fe/total Fe (redox ratio) in the range of between 20 and 65%, cerium in a quantity which, expressed in weight of CeOin relation to the total weight of glass, is greater than or equal to 0.1%, and titanium in a quantity which, expressed in weight of TiOin relation to the total weight of glass, is greater than or equal to 0% and less than 0.2%. This glass has a light transmission (TLA4) in the range of between 15 and 55%, a total transmission in the ultraviolet (TUV4) of less than or equal to 30%, and a dominant wavelength in transmission (&#x3bb;D) of less than or equal to 491 nm. This glass can be used, for example, as side glazing, rear-view window, roof glazing or opening roof of a motor vehicle.

The invention concerns a soda-lime glass. Said colored glass contains at least 5 parts per million of Co by weight and 0.5 to 0.9 wt. % FeOoxide. The amount of ferrous iron by weight of Featoms relative to the total weight of iron atoms present in the glass ranges between 25 and 45%. Said glass further comprises chromium and/or vanadium. The glass has a light transmission factor TLA4 ranging between 10 and 50% and an energy transmission wavelength less than 491 nm. Said glass is particularly suited for producing blue-tinted glazing for motor vehicles.

The invention relates to a coloured soda-lime glass of blue hue, containing more thanwt. % of MgO, more thanwt. % of FeO, less thanwt. % of FeO and less thanwt. % of MnO, and presenting under Illuminant A and for a glass thickness ofmm, a transmission factor (TLA) higher than%, a selectivity (SE) higher thanand a dominant wavelength (&#x3bb;) and a purity of excitation (P) such that they are located in the CIE chromaticity co-ordinate diagram inside a triangle whereof the apices are defined by the point representing the illuminant source C and the points whereof the co-ordinates (&#x3bb;, P) are () and () respectively. Said glass is particularly suitable for motor vehicle side windows, rear windows and sun roof.

Soda-lime glass of blue hue

The invention relates to blue colored sodiocalcic glass. It contains 0.15 to 1.1 wt. % FeO, has a redox that does not exceed 45%, exhibits a dominant wavelength (&#x3bb;) in the range of 490 and 493 nm and a luminous transmission (TLA4) in addition to an excitation purity (P) satisfying the relation P&#x3e;&#x2212;0.3&#xd7;TLA4+24.5. The inventive glass is particularly suitable for windscreens, side windows and rear-window defoggers in motor vehicles and glazing in buildings.

Blue sodiocalcic glass

The present invention relates to a glazing comprising: a substrate made of colored soda-lime glass composed of main glass-forming constituents and of coloring agents, which exhibits a selectivity (LT/ET) of at least 1.1, measured with Illuminant C for a glass thickness of 4 mm, and a coating deposited by pyrolysis on the colored glass substrate. The coating is a coating which provides the coated glazing with an increased selectivity with respect to the selectivity of the uncoated colored glass. Such a glazing is particularly used for vehicles of the motor vehicle or train type, or alternatively for buildings.

The invention concerns a colored soda-lime glass comprising an amount of MgO more than 2%, an amount of FeOless than 1.1%, and amount of MnOless than 1300 ppm, an amount of Co more that 55 ppm and it has a selectivity (SE4) higher than 1.2 and a dominant wavelength &#x3bb;not exceeding 490 nm and excitation purity (P) more than 10%. Said glass is particularly suited for rear side windows, back windows and glass sun roofs for motor vehicle.

Colored soda-lime glass

The invention concerns a coloured soda-lime glass deep coloured with a green-to-blue shade. It contains 0.40 to 0.52 wt. % of FeO, present under illuminant A and for a glass thickness of 4 mm, a light transmittance (TLA4) less than 70%, a selectivity (SE4) higher than 1.65 and an ultraviolet radiation transmittance (TUV4) less than 8%. Said glass is particularly suited for lateral rear glazing and rear glazing for motor vehicles.
