A braking device may include a brake casing rotatably assembled with respect to a shaft along an axis of rotation, first braking elements and second braking elements, forming a stack, an elastic return element configured to exert an application force on the first and second braking elements, and a brake release actuator, adapted to bias the elastic return element along a direction opposing the application direction. The braking device a may include a diffusion wedge and a pressure wedge positioned respectively to bear against the stack and against the elastic return element. The diffusion wedge and the pressure wedge may have contact surfaces defining an annular linear contact about the axis of rotation.

Braking system for a hydraulic machine

The machine comprises distribution ducts connected to respective ones of first, second, and third enclosures (), and a cylinder-capacity selector () suitable for being caused to take up a large cylinder capacity configuration in which the second enclosure () is connected to one of the main ducts (), while the first and third enclosures () are connected to the other main duct (), and a small cylinder capacity configuration in which the second and third enclosures () are connected to said one of the main ducts (), while the first enclosure is connected to the other main duct (). The machine further comprises a safety valve () having at least a first port () connected to said one of the main ducts (), and a second port () connected to the third enclosure (). Said safety valve is suitable, when the cylinder-capacity selector () is caused to go into the large cylinder capacity, for being caused to go into a first configuration that isolates the first and second ports () from each other, and, when the cylinder-capacity selector is caused to go into its small cylinder capacity, for being caused to go into a second configuration that interconnects the first and second ports ().

The devices comprises a distributor () that presents distribution ducts opening out into a radial distribution face (A), and a distributor-counterpart engaged in each other in such a manner that two main enclosures () are provided between their opposite axially-extending faces. The device comprises a cylinder-capacity selector comprising two slides () arranged after the other in a bore () of the element engaged in the other, to which are connected the main enclosures () and at least some of the distribution ducts (). The slides are able to adopt at least three distinct configurations establishing different connections between the main ducts () and the distribution ducts via the main enclosures, in order to be able to obtain at least three distinct operating cylinder capacities.

Selection system having improved axial locking

Cut-in-cut-out valves for hydraulic circuits. The hydraulic circuits include a hydraulic pump outputting a variable pressure controlled by a slaving line, an accumulation circuit, a return line to the reservoir, a cut in-cut-out valve. The hydraulic circuits also include a cut-in-cut-out valve having four orifices, a first orifice connected to the supply line, a second orifice connected to the slaving line, a third orifice connected to the return line leading to the reservoir, and a fourth orifice connected to the accumulation circuit. The cut-in-cut-out valve alternates between two positions as a function of the pressure in the accumulation circuit, a cut-in position in which the first, second and fourth orifices are connected to each other, and a cut-out position in which the first and fourth orifices are closed.

A valve including a valve body having an inlet port and an outlet port, a valve stem, a valve seat, an opening control chamber for the valve stem, which chamber, by being fed with fluid, urges the valve stem to move towards the open position of the valve, a return spring of opposing effect, and a piston suitable for sliding in the body so as to urge contact to be established between the valve stem and the seat. The valve seat is formed on the piston, which piston is provided with a bore in which the valve stem is in its closure movement, the fluid flows out via a constriction from a damping chamber.
