This disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method for heating a product stream, in particular a basic material for the beverage industry, and especially a milk drink or a mixed milk drink. Due to the fact that, in a heating module, a treatment channel is formed between alternating current electrodes in such a way that the product flows from the first electrode to the second electrode substantially in a main flow direction, the electrode spacing and the cross-section of the treatment channel can be dimensioned largely independently from one another and the energy input in the product as well as the flow behavior of the product can be optimized. This promotes uniform heating of the product and helps to avoid undesirable depositions in the treatment channel.

Apparatus and method for heating a product stream

The invention relates to a method for blow forming a container () from a parison () made of plastic. After heating, said container is preformed by a gas injected into the container () at a low pressure of 5 bar and by expanding the inner volume of said container. The final shape of the container can then be achieved by igniting an inflammable gas injected into the container, whereby the combustion generates a higher blowing pressure, or by injecting an additional gas with a higher blowing pressure of approximately 40 bar into the container after pre-blowing. The invention aims at improving known blow forming methods in such a way that a barrier layer impervious to gases, aromatic substances or the like is produced on the inner side of the container without having to use big machines. To this end, a precursor gas is added to and mixed with the inflammable gas, the mixture is then ignited and a coating is formed on the inner surface of the container by the combustion. Alternatively, an inflammable precursor gas is injected into the shaped, stress-relieved container that has been formed by means of classical stretch blow forming. Said gas is then ignited and once again the coating is formed on the inner surface of the precursor gas by the combustion.

Method for blow forming a container made of plastic and for coating the inside of said container

The invention relates to a device for producing containers from a plastic material that can be shaped by means of stretch blow forming and whose inner space corresponds to the finished container, said container being retained on its open end by a receiving element with gas flow pipes. A moveable stretch die () is axially guided through the receiving element and an ignition device is mounted in order to ignite an explosive gas mixture inside the container. In order to produce plastic containers having a better outer appearance, such as a substantially clear, transparent wall, and improve reliability of production, the receiving element can be engaged in a fluidically tight manner with the main distribution block () by the end thereof that faces the container, the stretching die () being movably guided through said distribution block in the axial extension of the receiving element. At least one first fluidic connection () is provided in a first area of the main distribution block () facing away from the container, and an additional fluidic connection () is provided in an opposite second area of the main distribution block () facing the container. The pipes () from the two fluidic connections () in the second area in the main distribution block () are connected together. A single common flow channel () is formed between the connecting point () and the receiving element.
