A control device for controlling the operation of a wireless communication device is described. The wireless communication device includes an antenna, a front-end module configured for transmitting and receiving signals according to a time-division multiplexing scheme, and switching means which can switch at least one transmission or reception chain of said front-end module between first and second modes in which the processing chain presents different impedances to the antenna. The control device can be integrated in the communication device and includes a control module to control the switching means so that the processing chain alternates between said first and second modes so that the communication device backscatters an ambient signal.

Device for controlling the operation of a wireless FDD communication device, and associated control method

A notification method is performed by at least a first device of a plurality of devices forming nodes of a network. The first device is suitable for sending and/or receiving at least one data message via a first communication link to and/or from at least one second device of the plurality. The notification method is adapted to the first device transmitting at least one notification message signaling at least one predetermined operation relating to at least one instance of the data message and performed by a functional entity of the first device, the notification message including an identifier of the first device, an identifier of the functional entity, an identifier of the operation, and an identifier common to all of the instances of the data message within the first device. Also provided are a method and device for modeling the network from the notification messages.

Notification method relative to at least one operation implemented by a device forming a node of a network

A wireless communication device having a full-duplex architecture is described, the device comprising phase shifters integrated into transmitting chains and receiving chains, respectively, which are connected to basic antennae. Each transmitting/receiving chain is associated with a receiving/transmitting chain so as to form a pair of chains, with a connection circuit arranged between the chains of each pair. The device also includes at least one control module configured to control switching means and to activate/deactivate analogue means and digital means for cancelling interference and all or some of the transmitting/receiving chains so that the device is able to alternate between at least two different modes: a first full-duplex transmitting/receiving mode, and a second mode in which the device is able to reflect one or more transmission beams.

Full-duplex, multi-antenna wireless communication device and method for controlling such a device

A wireless communication device is described, having an analogue-digital hybrid architecture comprising passive phase shifters. The device includes a control module configured to control means for switching the communication device, such that the device is capable of alternating between three separate modes: a first/second mode in which each passive phase shifter is integrated into a transmission/reception chain, and a third mode in which each passive phase shifter is integrated into a transmission line. The transmission line includes a first portion connecting a first port of the passive phase shifter to the elementary antenna to which it can also be connected in the first/second modes and configured such that substantially all the electromagnetic energy associated with a transmission beam received by the elementary antenna is transmitted to the passive phase shifter, and also includes a second portion connecting the second port of the passive phase shifter to an impedance configured to reflect the electromagnetic energy.

Multi-antenna wireless communication device, method for controlling such a device

A management method is described, the method implemented by a transmission device capable of communicating via a first wireless with a gateway device forming a node of a telecommunication network and configured to communicate with at least one server of the network via the gateway device. The method can include establishing a secure communication session with a terminal included in a list of terminals for which the transmission device has obtained management data. The method can also include receiving via the first communication link a request to end the management of the terminal, and removing the terminal from the list following the receipt of the request. A transmission device which can be used to implement the management method is also described.

Management of communication between a terminal and a server of a network

Data transmission between a terminal and an associated server

A communication system which includes a terminal, a telecommunications network server able to provide a network service to the terminal; and an application server able to provide application services to the terminal via the network and the network server. The terminal and the network server share and store a same network root key kept secret from the application server and are configured to generate, on the basis of this network root key, a network session key used to sign and verify the integrity of messages exchanged on the network between the terminal and the network server. The invention relates to a method for accessing data related to at least one operation implemented by at least one node device (N) of a network (R) from a plurality of node devices (N, N, N) of said network, which are capable of communicating via a first communication link (L). According to the invention, the access method is suitable for receiving a message through which a node device signals, to an observation device, an operation implemented by said node device; for recording at least one piece of information on said operation; and, upon receiving a request from a terminal via a second communication link, for transmitting a response developed from at least part of the recorded information. Method for accessing data related to at least one operation implented by a node device of a network

A data communication method implemented by a sensor node of a telecommunications network including a plurality of sensor nodes and a concentrator node, which share a communication channel. The method includes: selecting a time interval in a contention window including a plurality of time intervals and preceding a transmission period including a plurality of transmission intervals; emitting a request signal during the selected time interval to the concentrator node; receiving a response signal carrying encoded information representing an ordered combination of the intervals marked during which the signals were received by the concentrator node; determining a transmission rank according to a number of intervals marked by the concentrator node; and deciding to emit data to the concentrator node in the transmission period when the transmission rank is lower than or equal to the number of intervals of the transmission period.

Communications method, a communications management method, and associated devices and nodes

A method is provided for processing a data packet on reception, where the data packet is transmitted by a first node to a second node over a link of a wireless electronic communications network. The packet includes a header and payload data. The method includes a step of receiving the data packet in two stages, a first stage of receiving the header and a second stage of receiving the payload data. The first stage includes the following steps performed by the second node on receiving a header of the data packet: detecting in the received preamble an authentication preamble for authenticating the link; using the data packet authentication preamble to authenticate the link; and in the event of the authentication having a positive result, deciding to trigger the second stage of receiving the payload data from the data packet.

A method for a node to transmit data in a telecommunications network is disclosed. In one method aspect, it comprises, selecting a time slot j in a window having a plurality of time slots and preceding a transmission period, listening to time slots preceding the time slot j, wherein the transmission period presents a plurality of transmission channels. Furthermore, the method comprises counting a number of time-slot transmissions during the time slots preceding the time slot j wherein when the number of time-slot transmissions is greater than a threshold, the data transmission is postponed or cancelled. Furthermore, when the number of time-slot transmissions is less than or equal to the threshold, a transmission is made during the time slot j, and one of the transmission channels is determined as a function of the number of time-slot transmissions.

During phase (a), if the new node detects a leader node, it allocates an address from its managed address pool and the new node assumes a member node roll in the leader node cell.
