A method, device, and system for creating a communication group among a plurality of mobile communication devices. The method includes creating a first trigger condition, at a first mobile communication device, the first trigger condition including detection of a second mobile communication device in an area. A context data message that includes the first trigger condition and the area definition is sent by the first mobile communication device to a communication beacon having a range that includes the area. When the first trigger condition occurs and when the first mobile communication device is outside the area, receive a group call at the first mobile communication device from the second mobile communication device.

Method, device, and system for creating communication groups

A process for locating required responders in a wireless ad-hoc network of mobile computing devices (MCDs) starts with wirelessly receiving, at a second MCD directly from a first MCD, a message indicating a requested type of responder needed and a location at which the responder is needed. The second MCD then compares the requested type of responder needed to a locally stored type of responder associated with a current user. If a match is found, the second MCD alerts the current user provides a response mechanism. The second MCD then makes a forwarding determination of whether or not the message should be forwarded directly to one or more other mobile computing devices. The second MCD one of further directly wirelessly transmits and refrains from further transmitting the message to the one or more other mobile computing devices as a function of the forwarding determination.

Wireless ad-hoc network flooding mechanism to intelligently locate required responders

A method, device, and system for creating a communication group among a plurality of mobile communication devices. The method includes creating, at a first mobile communication device, a first trigger condition that includes detection of a second mobile communication device in an area defined by an area definition. A context data message that includes the first trigger condition and the area definition is sent by the first mobile communication device. When the first trigger condition occurs and when the first mobile communication device is outside the area, a communication group is established with the first mobile communication device and the second mobile communication device.
