A method for avoiding artifacts in measurement data captured using a magnetic resonance system which has a gradient unit. The method includes loading data which characterizes the gradient unit of the magnetic resonance system; loading a measurement protocol to be used for capturing the measurement data, wherein the measurement protocol includes gradients to be switched and RF excitation pulses and RF refocusing pulses to be irradiated, wherein, after irradiation of an RF excitation pulse, a train of at least two RF refocusing pulses is irradiated and measurement data is captured after each RF refocusing pulse; determining compensation gradients which, after the capture of the measurement data, are to be switched after a final RF refocusing pulse of the train of RF refocusing pulses associated with the RF excitation pulse and before a following RF excitation pulse as a function of the loaded measurement protocol and of the data which characterizes the gradient unit; and carrying out the measurement protocol using the determined compensation gradients.

Avoidance of artifacts in measurement data captured using a magnetic resonance system

A method for avoiding artifacts in image data reconstructed from measurement data acquired by means of a TSE (turbo spin echo) sequence with a coil having a plurality of antenna elements associated with one channel respectively. The method includes loading the measurement data, acquired with the coil, of all channels of the coil; loading at least the first three echo signals respectively of an echo train from phase correction measurement data of all channels acquired with the coil in relation to the TSE sequence; determining a step value d for each channel of the coil from the loaded phase correction measurement data, which value describes a signal drop in the three successive echo signals of the phase correction measurement data; channel-by-channel manipulation of the measurement data as a function of the step value of the respective channel; and reconstructing image data by taking into account the manipulated measurement data.

Method for magnetic resonance imaging, magnetic resonance imaging system and computer program product

A method for operating a magnetic resonance device is provided. The magnetic resonance device includes a component that has an operating limit in relation to a state parameter. The component uses a protocol to record magnetic resonance data. The protocol includes a magnetic resonance sequence and is described by protocol parameters. A protocol parameter set that, in relation to a protocol section, allows the protocol section to be repeated as often as desired without exceeding the operating limit is provided or determined. The method includes receiving a boost parameter from a user interface. At least for the protocol section, adaptation parameters are determined at least partially automatically based on the boost parameter, such that the desired number of repetitions described by the boost parameter is established while complying with the operating limit. Magnetic resonance data is recorded with the protocol using the determined adaptation parameters.

Operating a magnetic resonance device

According to a method, first MR reference data and first MR imaging data are captured. Further MR imaging data is then captured. The capturing includes in each case generating at least one excitation pulse with a transmit coil of the magnetic resonance apparatus and irradiating the at least one excitation pulse into a patient receiving region, generating MR signals in a generation region using the at least one excitation pulse, and receiving the MR signals as MR data with a receive coil. A degree of difference that describes a difference between the generation region on capture of the first MR reference data and the generation region on capture of the further MR imaging data is determined. MR reference data is provided as a function of the degree of difference. An MR image is reconstructed based on the captured further MR imaging data and the provided further MR reference data.

Method for capturing MR data

A method is for acquiring a magnetic resonance (MR) image dataset of at least two slices via simultaneous multi-slice excitation. An embodiment of the method includes executing an MR imaging sequence using multi-band radio-frequency excitation pulses to excite the at least two slices simultaneously in at least two repetitions, the repetitions each being executed according to a phase modulation scheme in which each of the simultaneously excited slices is assigned a phase and the phase of at least one of the simultaneously excited slices is changed from one repetition to the next, thereby acquiring an MR dataset of a collapsed image in each repetition; performing a spatial registration between the at least two collapsed images and performing motion correction on at least one of the MR datasets of the collapsed images; and reconstructing MR images of the at least two slices from the corrected MR datasets of the collapsed images.

Method for acquiring an MR-image dataset of at least two slices by means of simultaneous multislice excitation

The disclosure relates to techniques for acquiring measured data that has been recorded simultaneously via a magnetic resonance facility from at least two slices from an examination object comprising at least two different spin types. The techniques includes selecting a desired simultaneous recording of measured data from at least two slices in which during recording phases that generate field of view shifts have been imprinted, selecting a compensation factor to compensate for interference signals caused by the different spin types, determining a compensation phase for the phases to be imprinted in the desired recording as a function of the compensation factor, and carrying out the desired recording of measured data and/or reconstruction of image data from the measured data by applying the compensation phase that has been determined to the respective phases to be imprinted.

A method for operating a magnetic resonance facility in which a measurement gradient pulse is used to record magnetic resonance signals for sampling k-space along a trajectory section. The recorded magnetic resonance signals are assigned to k-space points using a shape function describing the time profile of the measurement gradient pulse. To correct deviations of the real time profile of the measurement gradient pulse from an assumed target profile, a first correction measurement is performed to ascertain first magnetic resonance signals of the trajectory section. A second correction measurement is then performed using a reference sampling pattern or a reference gradient pulse with fewer deviations from an assigned reference target profile. If a deviation criterion is met, a correction function for the shape function is ascertained by aligning the first and second magnetic resonance signals to one another, providing correction information to be used in an imaging measurement.

Method for operating an MR device to acquire MR data slices, wherein in a sequence section of an MR sequence, MR signals of at least two slices are measured simultaneously, and an acquisition order having an association of slices to respective sequence sections of a repetition sequence covering all slices of an associated concatenation is determined using an ordering rule. A crosstalk criterion is evaluated for the acquisition order by checking whether a first slice acquired in a last sequence section of the repetition sequence is directly adjacent to a second slice acquired in a first sequence section of the same repetition sequence.
