A draw-in apparatus having at least two rotatable draw-in rollers for drawing in sheet goods, in particular bank notes, wherein the draw-in rollers are arranged relative to each other with meshing roller profiles respectively extending transversely to the draw-in direction so as to define a draw-in gap for the sheet goods, and wherein the draw-in rollers have axial cross-sectional profiles mutually matched such that a clearance between the draw-in rollers changes periodically upon a rotation of the draw-in rollers.

A method for accepting and/or dispensing/returning bank notes wherein bank notes to be accepted or dispensed/returned are transported from or to an input and dispensing position to or from a processing position. At least an input velocity for the bank notes is ascertained upon an input of bank notes to be accepted, or at least a withdrawal velocity for the bank notes upon the dispensing/return of bank notes to be dispensed/returned is ascertained, and the bank notes to be accepted are transported at a transport velocity corresponding substantially to the input velocity or withdrawal velocity, whereas the bank notes to be dispensed/returned are transported at a transport velocity corresponding substantially to the withdrawal velocity or input velocity.

Device and method for receiving or dispensing bank notes

The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for monitoring the singling of sheet material, in particular of bank notes. The invention starts out from monitoring the singling of sheet material, in particular of bank notes, by means of a singler having a drive and a control device for a monitoring and controlling of the singler, wherein a monitoring of place, time, orientation and state of the singled sheet material is effected immediately after the singling.

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for accepting or dispensing or returning bank notes. An operator wishing to remove bank notes protruding from the apparatus for dispensing or returning, is assisted during removal in that the bank notes are transported towards the operator by the apparatus as soon as the operator grasps the bank notes and starts pulling or moving them out of the apparatus.

Apparatus for singling sheet material, in particular bank notes, which is inputted into an input area of the apparatus as a stack and is transported up to a singler, which transfers individual pieces of sheet material of the stack of sheet material to a sheet transport system, which transports the singled sheet material in a transport direction, a sensor disposed in transport direction upstream of the singler, which substantially extends over the width of the input area, generating signals which specify whether and in which area of the width of the input area the sheet material is present, and a control device evaluating the signals of the sensor during a transport of the stack of sheet material to the singler and comparing occurring fluctuations and changes of the signals of the sensor regarding the presence or absence of sheet material with predetermined threshold values for fluctuations and changes of the signals of the sensor, in order to derive a statement from the occurring fluctuations and changes of the signals of the sensor, whether the pieces of sheet material forming the stack of sheet material are aligned to each other with respect to their edges, and whether the stack of sheet material has an alignment which substantially is in parallel to the transport direction of the transport system.
