For positioning the trailer coupling mounting device into its active position, the air-guiding device is settable into its second operating position and, after or together with the positioning of the air-guiding device into its second operating position, the trailer coupling mounting device is configured to be movable along a body vertical axis (Z) of the motor vehicle body.

The air guide element forming a rear side part of a body of the motor vehicle so as to be movable relative to the remaining body. The air guide element is movable between an inoperative position and at least one operating end position. The air guide element, in its inoperative position, is flush with the remaining body. The rear side part has a flow guide surface which faces an environment of the motor vehicle and along which air flows. The air guide element has a surface which is at least part of the flow guide surface. The air guide element, in its operating end position, is configured to extend the flow guide surface along a body longitudinal axis (X) of the body.

An air conduction device for a motor vehicle includes an air conduction element and a movement device. The air conduction element is movably configured relative to the remaining body as at least part of a tail side part of a body of the vehicle. The air conduction element can be brought into an inoperative position and at least one final operating position. The tail side part has a flow guiding area along which air flows which is designed to face an area surrounding the motor vehicle. The air conduction element has a surface which is at least part of the flow guiding area. The air conduction element is configured in its final operating position to lengthen the flow guiding area in the direction of a longitudinal body axis (X) of the body. The air conduction element can be brought into its positions with the help of the movement device.

A motor vehicle body includes an air-guiding device and a trailer coupling mounting device. The air-guiding device is formed in a rear-end region of the motor vehicle body, and the trailer coupling mounting device is adjustable into a rest position and into an active position. The trailer coupling mounting device, in at least the rest position, is at least partially covered by the air-guiding device, which is settable into a first operating position and a second operating position. For positioning of the trailer coupling mounting device into its active position, the trailer coupling mounting device is movable along a body longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle body, and, before or together with the positioning of the trailer coupling mounting device into its active position, the air-guiding device is settable into an intermediate position which has a pivot angle greater than a pivot angle of the second operating position.

An air conduction device for a motor vehicle including an air conduction element and a movement device with adjustment kinematics. The air conduction element is movable relative to the remaining body as at least part of a tail side part of the vehicle body. The air conduction element moves between an inoperative position and at least one final operating position. The tail side part has a flow guiding area along which air flows which is designed to face an area surrounding the motor vehicle. The air conduction element has a surface which is at least part of the flow guiding area. The air conduction element is configured in its final operating position to lengthen the flow guiding area in the direction of a longitudinal body axis (X) of the body. The adjustment kinematics are configured in the form of multipoint joint kinematics.

A motor vehicle side spoiler arrangement with a spoiler blade which can be moved in a motorized manner between a retracted rest position and a laterally extended spoiler position. A spoiler shell is fixed on the vehicle and provided with a shell rear wall, a guide mechanism which guides the spoiler blade in the longitudinal direction, and an actuating motor. A sliding seal lip is provided between the spoiler blade and the shell rear wall, which sliding seal lip closes a front-side gap (S) between the spoiler blade and the shell rear wall in the spoiler position of the spoiler blade.

A rear diffusor unit includes a base element configured to be mounted in a fixed position on a body of a vehicle; a movable diffusor element; and a drive device with which the movable diffusor element is movable relative to the base element between two end positions. The air-direction element () has a textile material that is sound-permeable for the acoustic signal of the sound generator. The textile material conducts headwind away and also covers the sound generator () without significantly affecting the perception of the acoustic signal. Therefore, a simple design of a front-end part () for a motor vehicle () is provided with a small number of components.

A rear air-guiding device () for a fastback motor vehicle () is arranged in the region of a roof rear edge () above a rear window () and includes an air-guiding element () that is movable from a rest position () into at least one operational position (). The rear air-guiding device has a gap sealing device that seals off a gap between a leading edge of the air-guiding element () and a body surface when the air-guiding device () is in the operational position () and around which air would flow during driving.

A rear spoiler for a motor vehicle has a spoiler body () for deflecting a stream of air to provide an aerodynamic effect. The spoiler body () has a main spoiler () with a main surface () and an auxiliary spoiler () with an auxiliary surface (). A multi-jointed actuating kinematics () can move the main spoiler () and the auxiliary spoiler () between a storage position where the auxiliary surface () of the auxiliary spoiler () is at least partially below the main spoiler () and a use position where the auxiliary spoiler () is substantially in a common plane with the main surface ().

However, the gap () can be closed via a closure device (). The closure device () has a multi-layered, flexible sheetlike structure () with at least one front outer, flexible layer () and a rear outer, flexible layer (). In the extended operating position, the front outer layer () can be stretched with the aid of a stiff clamping element () and the rear outer layer () can be stretched with the aid of a flexible clamping element ().

Air-guiding device for a vehicle

An air-guiding device () is arranged in a rear-end region of a vehicle and has a central main air-guiding element () that is displaceable from a retracted rest position into a deployed operating position. Lateral auxiliary air-guiding elements () are adjustable substantially linearly relative to the main air-guiding element () in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle to be transferred from a rest position, in which they are retracted into the main air-guiding element (), into an operating position, in which they are deployed out of the main air-guiding element (). Each auxiliary air-guiding element is movable along a guide unit () in the main air-guiding element () and is guided in the guide unit () in a first direction by at least one slide element () and in a second direction by at least one guide pin ().
