Embodiments relate to controlling display of a document, where the document comprises multiple columns. An aspect includes displaying the columns of the document in a viewport, receiving a user input defining a downwards scrolling for the document. Another aspect includes determining the lowest numbered column that does not have its lowest point displayed in the viewport. Another aspect includes scrolling upwards only the lowest numbered column that does not have its lowest point displayed in the viewport, while maintaining all other columns stationary in the viewport.

Embodiments include a method of controlling message delivery from a publisher application to one or more subscriber applications of a messaging system, the one or more subscriber applications having a plurality of subscriptions registered with a broker application of the messaging system. The method includes generating a unified subscription description representing the plurality of registered subscriptions based on at least one stored intermediate subscription description, where each intermediate subscription description represents one or more registered subscriptions. The method also includes communicating the unified subscription description to the publisher application.

Message delivery in a message system

A method, hardware system, and/or computer program product controls message delivery from a publisher application to one or more subscriber applications in a publish/subscribe messaging mechanism. The one or more subscriber applications have a plurality of subscriptions registered with a broker application of the publish/subscribe messaging mechanism. A unified subscription description representing the plurality of subscriptions registered with the broker application is generated, and is then communicated to the publisher application.

Message delivery in a messaging system

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for information sharing. The method may receive user created content from a user. It may then extract information, having one or more types of information from the user created content. At least one type of the extracted information is semantic concepts. It may then determine one or more messaging platforms on which to share the user created content. It may determine that based on at least a correlation between: the extracted information; and historical data correlating the extracted information with what messaging platforms the user created content was sent to. I may notify the user of the one or more determined messaging platforms. It may receive a selection from the user of one or more determined messaging platforms. It may transmit the user created content to the selected messaging platform or platforms.

Intelligent information sharing system

Systems and computer program product synchronize screenshots in documentation with product functionality. Documentation source relating to a product includes placeholders where screenshots of user interface views of the product are to be located. A placeholder includes a description or pointer to a description of how to generate the user interface view of the product associated with the screenshot. A new version of the documentation may be generated. The documentation source including placeholders is read. Placeholders in the documentation are used to generate a user interface view. The user interface view is captured as a screenshot. The screenshot is inserted in the new version of the documentation at the location of the placeholder used to generate the screenshot.

Synchronising screenshots in documentation with product functionality

Mechanisms are provided for generating a composite service. A request to generate the composite service is received that identifies a geospatial region of interest for the composite service. One or more types of components needed to generate the composite service are determined and, for each component of a plurality of components of the one or more types of components, a corresponding spatial coverage characteristic is determined. A subset of components, from the plurality of components, is selected based on the spatial coverage characteristics of the plurality of components and the geospatial region of interest. The composite service is then generated based on the selected subset of components from the plurality of components.

Providing a sensor composite service based on operational and spatial constraints

Screenshots in documentation are synchronized with product functionality. An approach for an intelligent GPS service is provided. The approach monitors a plurality of routes, wherein the plurality of routes are routes traveled by a user in a plurality of successive journeys. The approach determines one or more common sub-routes within the plurality of routes, the one or more common sub-routes having a plurality of points in common with each other. The approach determines whether the one or more common sub-routes exceed a pre-determined threshold. The approach flags each of the one or more common sub-routes exceeding a pre-determined threshold. The approach identifies one or more flagged common-sub-routes within a calculated route.

Intelligent global positioning system service

A method, apparatus and/or computer program provides secure user authentication in a network having a dynamic set of services. The method comprises a client authenticating with an edge service and generating a query key. The edge service issues a request to the dynamic set of services. The request comprises (i) an encrypted identifier associated with the client, (ii) a private portion of the request being encrypted with the query key, and (iii) a public portion of the request. In response to ascertaining from the public portion of the request that it is able to respond to the request, one or more of the dynamic set of services respond to the edge service with (i) an identifier associated with the dynamic set of services, and (ii) the identifier associated with the client. The edge service then authenticates that it is able to respond to the request, including generating a session key.

Secure user authentication in a dynamic network

A mechanism is provided for determining and verifying a passcode is disclosed. The mechanism defines a passcode by a set of rules, each representing the position of a target key relative to a reference key on a given keyboard. The mechanism receives user selection of a passcode subset of the set of passcode pattern rules for representing a passcode comprising a pattern of keys on the keyboard. The mechanism stores the passcode subset of rules for subsequent verification against a user input passcode for controlling access to a resource.
