A cell site includes a tower, a multi-service terminal mounted to the tower and a base transceiver station in communication with the multi-service terminal. The multi-service terminal includes a housing and a plurality of adapters mounted to the housing. Each of the adapters includes an outer port accessible from outside the housing and an inner port accessible from inside the housing.

Fiber to the antenna

A telecommunications termination panel includes a pivoting tray with cable connection locations. Cables extending to the connection locations enter through the rear or the side and exit through the side of the panel. Cable management structures direct cables to and away from the connection locations. A first trough extends from the rear to the front of the panel housing, the first trough raised from the floor thereof. A second trough extends from the rear to the front of the tray and is pivotal relative to the first trough with movement of the tray. When the tray is closed, the troughs are parallel and when the tray is open, the troughs are perpendicular to each other. The second trough is raised from the first trough such that cables extending from the first into the second trough are not pinched when the tray is pivoted closed.

Fiber management panel

A telecommunications module includes a plurality of adapters mounted at a front face. The adapters are provided in groups of two and are stacked extending from the top to the bottom of the module. The front face of the module defines a center portion, a right portion, and a left portion. According to one embodiment, the right and the left portions are generally angled forwardly at an acute angle relative to a line that is perpendicular to the sides of the module as they extend from the center toward the right and left sides of the module. Each angled portion defines a slope as it extends from the center portion toward the right and left sides. The angled portions define a stepped configuration as they extend from the center toward the sides. Each step in the stepped configuration defines adapter receptacles that are also angled at an acute angle with respect to a line that generally defines the slope of the angle of the right and left angled portions. According to another aspect of the disclosure, the right and the left portions of the front face are generally angled rearwardly at an acute angle with respect to a line that is perpendicular to the sides of the module as they extend from the center toward the right and left sides. Stacked adapters mounted to the angled portions have longitudinal axes that are perpendicular to slopes defined by the angled portions.

Fiber optic telecommunications module

A module for radio frequency signal circuits includes an electrically conductive housing. Coax connectors are secured to the rear face of the housing. A circuit board is contained within the interior spaced between sidewalls of the housing. A ground side of the circuit board includes a layer of electrically conductive material which is electrically connected to the housing. Coax cables extend within the interior of the housing from the coax connectors and between the ground side of the circuit board and an opposing sidewall. An opposite side of the circuit board contains circuit components interconnected with one another through a plurality of circuit paths.

RF circuit module

Insulation displacement plug-in connector and device for telecommunications and data technology

A DSX system having a plurality of jacks mounted in a chassis, the jacks including IN and OUT ports accessible from the front of the chassis and tip and ring springs corresponding to each of the IN and OUT ports. The chassis also includes IN and OUT co-axial cable connectors electrically connected to the tip and ring springs of the jacks, and MONITOR co-axial cable connectors for use in monitoring signals transmitted through the IN and OUT connectors.

DSX module with performance monitoring

An opposite side of the circuit board contains circuit components inter-connected with one another through a plurality of circuit paths.

A DSX system arranged to receive a plurality of high-density chassis is disclosed. The chassis include back planes having rear access IN/OUT fields and rear access cross-connect fields. The rear access fields are electrically connected to termination panels located in respective IN/OUT regions and cross-connect regions. Each of the regions includes cable management channels within which system cables are routed.

High density DSX system

A DSX system for receiving removable jack inserts is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of chassis rearward facing cross-connect arrays and rearward facing IN/OUT arrays. A first circuit board section and a second circuit board section are electrically connected to the arrays. The first circuit board section is positioned behind the removable jack inserts. The second circuit board section is positioned behind the first circuit board section and in front of the cross-connect array and the IN/OUT array.
