In some examples, an autonomous vehicle fleet management device may receive cleanliness data corresponding to at least one autonomous vehicle. In some aspects, the autonomous vehicle fleet management device may determine, based on the cleanliness data, one or more parameters corresponding to at least one cleanliness issue associated with the at least one autonomous vehicle. In some cases, a remediation plan for the at least one cleanliness issue may be determined based on the one or more parameters. In some instances, at least one driving instruction may be sent to the at least one autonomous vehicle that is based on the remediation plan.

Systems and methods are provided for autonomous vehicle recovery. In particular, systems and methods are provided for vehicle recovery prioritization in a fleet of vehicles when multiple vehicles request recovery. Stranded vehicles in need of recovery assigned a risk profile and prioritized based on the risk profile. The risk profile can be based on a number of factors, such as a risk level for the vehicle due to the vehicle's situation, the presence of passengers in the vehicle, and congestion caused by the vehicle. Recovery response can be based on the recovery prioritization. Vehicle sensors and computing power can be used to inform onboard processors and/or central computers of a risk profile for the vehicle, and dispatch can trigger a response plan according to a recovery response framework.

Additionally, perception algorithms associated with sound detection and tracking can define human characteristics associated with frustrated drivers or other road users. Autonomous vehicle performance can be improved as a result of data analysis from the behavior of other road users.

Systems and methods for real time routing of vehicles. In particular, systems and methods are provided for real time routing of vehicles based on encounters with vulnerable road users. Vehicle perception and communication systems can provide live feedback of vulnerable road user locations. Various vulnerable road user behaviors can be identified by vehicle perception systems and flagged for avoidance in a central mapping system. The feedback can be used to route other fleet vehicles around the vulnerable road users.
