A method for dynamically authenticating and granting access to a computing system may be provided. The method comprises deriving at least one authentication question from at least one identified fact contained in a received text data. The at least one identified fact is stored in a knowledge base relating to a user profile. The method comprises conducting a textual authentication dialog. The textual authentication dialog comprises presenting the at least one authentication question and determining, based on natural language processing, that a received response comprises the at least one identified fact from which the at least one authentication question has been derived. The method comprises granting access to the computing system based on the textual authentication dialog.

Authentication using cognitive analysis

A method for dynamically authenticating and granting access to a computing system may be provided. The method comprises receiving text data identifying a fact comprised in the text data, storing the identified fact in a knowledge base relating to a user profile, deriving at least one authentication question from the stored fact, and conducting a textual authentication dialog The dialog comprises presenting the at least one authentication question, receiving a response, analyzing the response using natural language processing, and determining, based on the analysis, whether the response comprises the stored fact from which the authentication question has been derived. Additionally, the method comprises granting access to the computing system, and presenting an enrichment question and receiving a related answer.

A solution for auto-completing words being input to a computer is proposed. For this purpose, a user starts inputting a prefix of a target word; the computer tries predicting the target word that is desired, and it completes the prefix automatically (without the need of inputting the entire target word). In the proposed solution, the user also inputs an indication of the length of the target word. In this way, the computer can restrict the words being eligible to complete the prefix (i.e., including it) only to the ones having the desired length. This allows solving any ambiguity with shorter prefixes.

Facilitating auto-completion of words input to a computer

A method and a corresponding system for downloading software products (from a server to a client) are provided. The downloading of the product is started by the server as usual. Each proxy between the server and the client detects the starting of the downloading. If the proxy has a copy of the same product already available in its cache, the proxy notifies the server accordingly. In this case, the server stops the downloading. The product is instead provided to the client directly by the proxy. As a result, the time required for the downloading is strongly reduced; however, this result is achieved without adversely affecting the security of the process (since it is always controlled by the server directly).
