A portable object includes a case having a middle, a bracelet, and an attachment system for removably securing each end of the bracelet to the middle. The middle includes two longitudinal cavities to form a slide bar. Each end of the bracelet includes a fastening head that cooperates, by sliding, with one of the longitudinal cavities to form the attachment system. The fastening head includes an end flange made of a viscoelastic material. The attachment system includes a viscoelastic fitting for locking axial movement of the fastening head inside the longitudinal cavity by the viscoelastic response of the end flange. The viscoelastic fitting is formed by cooperation of a rigid locking protrusion in each longitudinal cavity to deform the end flange upon insertion of the bracelet. The locking protrusion fits inside a recess made in the end flange to lock the axial movement of the fastening head.

A method for attaching a horn to a watch case middle, a case middle/horn connection device and a case middle/horn assembly, the horn comprising a first connector and the case middle comprising a second connector having an undercut groove, the first connector cooperating with the second connector in order to attach the horn to the case middle. The method includes: a placing the first connector of the horn in contact with the second connector of the case middle such that one or more intermediate cavities are formed between the undercut groove and the first connector; a melting one portion of the horn so as to create a molten material; a filling, at least partially, the one or more intermediate cavities by displacement of the molten material; and solidifying the molten material in order to make the horn integral with the case middle.

The fastening system includes elastic casing elements to bolt the axial movement of the hooking head inside the longitudinal cavity, the elastic casing elements including: a rigid bolting protrusion, arranged on an inner wall of each of the longitudinal cavities, cooperating with; two obstacles arranged in the vicinity of an elastic portion of the hooking heads, the obstacles delimiting an inter-obstacle space designed to receive the bolting protrusion and form locking elements of the bolting protrusion; the elastic casing elements being configured to elastically distort the elastic portion of the hooking head during the insertion of the bracelet.

A case middle/horn connection device for a watch, a method for attaching an attachment piece including at least one horn to a case middle and a case middle/horn assembly. The connection device includes an attachment piece including at least one horn having a first connector and a case middle having a second connector, the first connector being configured to cooperate with the second connector to attach the attachment piece to the case middle. The first connector includes a tongue with a recess. The second connector includes a groove with an undercut portion. The undercut portion is configured to lodge inside the recess of the tongue; and the case middle and the attachment are made integral when the undercut portion of the second connector is lodged in the recess of the tongue of the first connector.
