A display apparatus has a display panel that includes a display area and a boundary area, a window that protects the display panel and that transmits an image that is realized in the display area, and an adhesion layer that adheres the display panel and the window. The window includes a window body with a first surface that faces the display panel and a second surface that is externally exposed, a light-shielding member that is on the first surface and that blocks the boundary area of the display panel from being externally visible, and a light-shielding member protection layer that is between the light-shielding member and the adhesion layer, and that protects the light-shielding member.

Display apparatus

A touch screen panel that prevents sensing patterns from being viewable at a border of a touch active region. The touch screen panel includes: a transparent substrate; first sensing cells and second sensing cells alternately distributed in a touch active region on the transparent substrate; first connection patterns connecting the first sensing cells in a first direction; second connection patterns connecting the second sensing patterns in a second direction crossing the first direction; and dummy patterns extending outside the touch active region and connected with the first sensing cells and the second sensing cells at a border of the touch active region.

A touch screen panel includes a transparent substrate; first detection cells and second detection cells alternately disposed on an active touch area of one surface of the transparent substrate in such a manner that the first detection cells are connected to each other along a first direction and second detection cells are connected to each other along a second direction; a driving/shield electrode formed throughout the other surface of the transparent substrate in such a manner that ends of the driving/shield electrode are located at an inner side of the transparent substrate while being spaced apart from a boundary line of the transparent substrate by a predetermined interval; and a first insulation layer formed throughout the other surface of the transparent substrate, on which the driving/shield electrode is formed, to cover an exposed surface of the driving/shield electrode, inclusive of sides of the driving/shield electrode.
