Provided are a method and an apparatus for generating a virtual internal fixture on the basis of image reduction, the method including: recognizing positions and shapes of multiple fracture fragments in a medical fracture image including a fracture site; determining conformity of the multiple fracture fragments by analyzing the shapes of the multiple fracture fragments; performing image reduction of the fracture site by moving the positions of the multiple fracture fragments on the basis of the conformity; and generating the virtual internal fixture for fixing the fracture site for which image reduction has been performed.

A respiratory gating system is disclosed that varies the orientation of a radiation emitting device according to a patient's natural breathing. A breathing respirator is provided that allows the patient's respiration amount to be measured. External markers are adhered to triangulation points around a radiation target region, such as a heart, of the patient. An image diagnosis device images the target region. A computed tomography device reveals movements of the target region caused by the respiration. Triangulations and polynomial approximations are used to estimate the trajectory of the target region in real time. Position coordinates derived from the estimated trajectory are transmitted to the radiation emitting device. The system increases the accuracy and stability of the entire radiation therapy result.

A radiation treatment collimator having a multilayered linkage structure, the collimator providing various shapes of spaces to form an irradiation area transmitting radioactive rays therethrough, the collimator comprising: a fixed frame disposed on a plate; multiple pixel board layers fixedly stacked at predetermined intervals on top of each other inside the fixed frame, each pixel board layer being configured in a lattice form and having pixel covers disposed correspondingly to the respective lattices in such a manner as to be open and closed individually; control units disposed on both sides of the fixed frame to individually control the operations of the pixel covers of the pixel board layers; and power source units disposed on the front and rear sides of the fixed frame to supply the pixel board layers with operating power.

Collimator for flow pixel proton therapy

The present invention relates to a voxel-type block phantom for a multifunctional radiation measurement apparatus. A phantom, for adjusting an amount of radiation, has solid pixel blocks, having a radiation measuring device equipped therein and different media and densities from one another, assembled on top of one another so as to be assembled into a 3-dimensional voxel, wherein the phantom is formed by placing a solid block which is appropriate for a density that corresponds to each pixel of the 3-dimensional voxel. An inspector can personally and instantly customize a phantom that is appropriate for a subject to be measured and thus can obtain an accurate measurement value.
