A button assembly for a refrigerator comprises: a case having a cooling chamber, and a door for opening or closing the cooling chamber; a cover mounted to one side of the case, and provided with a plurality of button insertion openings; a substrate fixed to an inner side of the cover, and provided with a plurality of switch buttons; elastic supporters inserted into the button insertion openings of the cover, and covering the switch buttons of the substrate; and button pads coupled to the elastic supporters, and elastically supported by an elastic force of the elastic supporters when pressed by a user, for switching on/off the switch buttons. The button assembly prevents humid air from being introduced thereinto, and simplifies the components to enhance the reliability and productivity. The button assembly enhances appearance around the buttons.

Button assembly for refrigerator

An outer rotor-type motor of the present invention comprises a stator block, a stator, a main cooling part, an outer rotor and an outer housing. The stator block is formed in the shape of a cylinder with a rear end closed. The stator block is installed on a shaft passing through a central portion of the rear end thereof. The stator is fixedly installed on an outer circumferential surface of the stator block. The main cooling portion is provided on an inner circumferential surface of the stator block to lower temperature of a corresponding portion. The outer rotor rotatably installed at an outside of the stator and the outer housing has a circumferential portion fixed to a front circumferential portion of the outer rotor.

In order to increase the reliability of the parts constituting the basket and to conveniently use the basket and to stably accomplish the operation of the basket, as the shaking of the basket is prevented, there is disclosed a basket operation device of a refrigerator, comprising: a basket freely moved in a back-and-forth direction in the state that the basket is supported by an inner wall of the refrigerator; a rotation shaft supported by the basket and moved with the basket and respectively rotated; a pair of rotation elements supported by both sides of the rotation shaft and rotated at the same angle to guide a movement of the basket when the basket moves in a back-and-forth direction; and a corresponding element formed in the inner wall of the refrigerator in a back-and-forth direction to contact with the rotation elements.

Method of controlling compressor for refrigerator and apparatus thereof

A damper for refrigerators is disclosed. The damper of this invention effectively vaporizes moisture drops, condensed on a higher temperature surface of a damper's baffle due to a dewing phenomenon caused by a difference in temperature between opposite surfaces of the baffle, thus allowing the baffle to be almost free from freezing. In order to expose the moisture drops on the higher temperature surface of the baffle to cool air flowing through the cool air passage for the fresh compartment when the baffle is opened, the baffle is rotatably held by a rotating shaft installed on the central portion of the baffle or by a hinge pin spaced apart from the baffle by a distance. In the damper of this invention, the moisture drops, condensed on the higher temperature surface of the baffle due to a temperature difference between opposite surfaces of the baffle while the baffle is closed, are fully exposed to the dry cool air when the baffle is opened, and so it is possible for the moisture drops to be quickly evaporated and absorbed by the cool air. The damper of this invention thus effectively prevents its baffle from freezing due to the condensed moisture drops and allows the baffle to be smoothly operated without failure, and improves the operational reliability and market competitiveness of the refrigerators.
