Systems and methods are provided for tracking sharing of an electronic content. An exemplary method may include receiving a request to access content associated with a web address by a user. Based on a unique identity assigned to the user and the web address, a unique tracking web address may be generated. This tracking web address may be shared with additional users. As other users request content associated with the tracking web address, information regarding the sharing of the electronic content may be determined and stored, allowing for tracking of sharing behavior of users.

Systems and methods for tracking sharing of web content

Systems and methods are provided for optimizing displays in one or more user interfaces. An exemplary method may include retrieving web entries from a database and generating a plurality of candidates based on the retrieved web entries, where each web entry of the web entries is a clickable item that is displayed on the one or more user interfaces. Additionally, provide the plurality of candidates for display on the one or more user interfaces and determine click-through rates for each of the plurality of candidates. Thereafter, create a display pool of candidates to display from plurality of candidates based on the click-through rates and update the display pool of candidates responsive to retrieving additional web entries from the database.

Systems and methods for optimizing the selection and display of electronic content

In various embodiments, methods and systems make a type of resource available via a target web page, based on the presence of resources of the same type being available on other pages visited by the traffic accessing the target web page. One or more resource history values are determined for a set of traffic flows in at least a portion of the traffic that accesses the target web page. Each traffic flow extends between the target web page and a respective web page with a resource profile for the specified type of resource. The resource profiles can be used to determine resource history values for the traffic flows. The target web page's resource profile for the specified type of resource can be established based on the resource history values. Based on the target web page's resource profile for the specified resource type, a resource of the specified type can be designated to be available on the target web page.
