Methods and apparatus are disclosed to label radiology images are disclosed. An example apparatus, includes: means for obtaining user input identifying a vertebra on a spinal image; means for generating first annotations on the spinal image based on: 1) the user input; 2) connected regions on the spinal image; and 3) a number of viewable vertebrae on the spinal image; means for generating second annotations on the spinal image based on: 1) the error; 2) second connected regions on the spinal image; and 3) the number of viewable vertebrae on the spinal image, the second connected regions on the spinal image being determined based on second contextual-information features that account for the error; means for displaying the spinal image including the second annotations; means for validating the second annotations in association with the spinal image; and means for storing the second annotations in association with the spinal image.

Methods and apparatus to label radiology images

A patient information interface system presents an aggregated, graphical view of patient anatomy and history. The system includes a graphical representation of at least a portion of a human anatomy including one or more indicators, aggregated from a plurality of clinical information sources and located at anatomical locations on the representation, that correspond to clinical events that have occurred in connection with a patient. The system also includes an electronic health record timeline of clinical events for the patient. The timeline includes the same one or more indicators that are displayed on the graphical representation corresponding to clinical events that have occurred in connection with a patient. A selection or change of an indicator on one of the graphical representation or the electronic health record timeline triggers a corresponding selection or change of the indicator on the other of the graphical representation or the electronic health record timeline.

Methods and apparatus are disclosed to label radiology images. An example system includes a processor and a database. In response to receiving a first user input via a data input, the processor is to generate first annotations on a spinal image. The processor is to cause the spinal image having the first annotations to be displayed at a user interface. In response to receiving the second user input, the processor is to generate second annotations on the spinal image. The second annotations is to correct the error in the first annotations.

The method includes identifying one or more images for display, the one or more images including a plurality of image slices. The method also includes determining a compression scheme for the one or more images based on at least one of bandwidth, processing power, and diagnostic modality. The method further includes transferring the one or more images for display at the client workstation. The method additionally includes adapting the compression scheme based on resource availability.

Certain embodiments provide systems and methods for image delivery in a picture archiving and communication system. Certain embodiments provide a method for transferring image data via a delivery chain for display at a client workstation. The method includes creating a data list describing image data to be delivered to implement an imaging workflow. The method includes establishing a general loading plan to specify a recommended priority for delivery of the image data in the data list. The method includes generating a node loading plan for each node in the delivery chain based on the general loading plan. The method includes reconciling at least one of the general loading plan and the node loading plan. The method includes delivering the image data via the nodes of the delivery chain based on the general loading plan, the node loading plan for each node in the delivery chain, and the data list.
