A hybrid NIRF/IVUS imaging probe containing i) a spatially-truncated optical lens a substantially-planar surface of which is inclined with respect to an axis to reflect light, transmitted between proximal and distal ends of the probe, internally into a body of the lens, and ii) an acoustic transducer disposed sequentially with the optical lens on the axis of the probe while, at the same time, the optical and electrical members of the probe transmitting the radiative and mechanical energies (which the probe exchanges with a target bodily vessel) are parallel to one another within the housing of the probe. Miniaturized intravascular fluorescence-ultrasound imaging catheter

A solution is proposed for testing a luminescence imaging apparatus (). A corresponding testing device () comprises one or more seats () and one or more containers (), each filled with a liquid comprising at least one luminescence substance and accommodated in a corresponding seat (); the seats () have corresponding windows () for imaging the luminescence substance of the containers () accommodated therein. The seats () are slanted with respect to a resting surface () of the testing device (). A holder () for use in the testing device () is further provided. A luminescence imaging apparatus () for use with the testing device () is also proposed. Moreover, a system () comprising a luminescence imaging apparatus () and this testing device () is proposed.
