The present invention relates to a rheology additive, according to which A) said additive consists of: a) at least one symmetrical fatty diamide of formula (I): (AGH)-CONH-(PMDA)-NHCO-(AGH) (I) with: (AGH): hydroxylated fatty acid residue R1CO2H, without —CO2H group, with R1 of C18 to C20 comprising a hydroxyl group, —NHCO— or —CONH—: amide group, —(PMDA): residue without amine groups of 1,5-pentamethylenediamine; or alternatively according to which: B) said additive comprises: a) at least one symmetrical fatty diamide as defined above according to formula (I) and, in addition, b) at least one other symmetrical fatty diamide of formula (II): (AGH)-CONH-(R)-NHCO-(AGH) (II) with (AGH), —NHCO— and —CONH— having the same definition as that above in said formula (I), and (R) being the residue without amine groups of a diamine, other than (PMDA), chosen from a cycloaliphatic, aliphatic or aromatic diamine.

Rheological additive based on optionally biosourced 1,5-pentamethylenediamine

The invention relates to a fatty amide which is a di- or triamide based on a polyether diamine or triamine which can be used as organogelator and in particular as rheology additive, said amide comprising a specific mixture of hydroxylated fatty acids and short hydroxylated acids. The invention also relates to a formulation composition using said fatty amide as rheology additive and to its use with this aim in coating, adhesive or PVC plastisol compositions and in particular transparent or non-transparent mastic compositions. Said rheology additive has the advantage of not needing a specific activation process before use, in contrast to the other known fatty amide additives based on hydrogenated castor oil derivatives.

Rheology additives based on hydroxylated di-or tri-amides and mixtures therof

The invention relates to a capped cyclodextrin-hydrophobic moiety conjugate, to a supramolecular polymer formed of capped cyclodextrin-hydrophobic moiety conjugates according to the invention and to a siRNA-cyclodextrin complex comprising a supramolecular polymer according to the invention. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the capped cyclodextrin-hydrophobic moiety conjugate, the supramolecular polymer, the siRNA-cyclodextrin complex according to the invention. The capped cyclodextrin-hydrophobic moiety conjugate of the invention comprises a capped cyclodextrin group and at least one hydrophobic moiety bound by a first linker to one of the carbon atoms of the cap. The invention can be used for various applications in particular in the pharmaceutical field.
