In a plasma treatment arrangement for carrying out dielectrically impeded plasma discharge onto a surface to be treated having a flat electrode unit () which has a treatment side, and a control unit () which supplies at least one electrode () of the electrode unit () with a high-voltage AC potential for a power which is required for plasma generation between the at least one electrode () and a counterelectrode which forms a reference potential, wherein the at least one electrode () which receives the high-voltage AC potential is shielded with a flat dielectric (), at least on the treatment side, and wherein the flat electrode unit is designed to reduce the size of its support area on the surface to be treated for the purpose of adaptation to the size of the surface to be treated, the adaptation of the support area of the flat electrode unit () becomes possible in an unproblematical manner on account of the control unit () having a device () for determining the size of the adapted support area and a control device for adjusting the power to be output to the at least one electrode () in accordance with the determined size of the support area.

Plasma treatment arrangement and method for adapting the size of a support area of the plasma treatment arrangement to the size of the surface to be treated

The invention relates to a treatment assembly for treating the surface of a body with a dielectrically limited plasma, comprising an electrode assembly (), in which at least one electrode () is arranged in a base section of the electrode assembly (), which is completely shielded from the surface to be treated by a dielectricum (), and a connection conductor () of which extends into a contact projection () of the dielectricum (). The treatment assembly also comprises a contact element ('), which has a receiving opening () for the contact projection () and a lever assembly for opening and closing the receiving opening (′) and for pressing a contact pin () through a prefabricated recess () of the dielectricum () onto the electrode () in order to deliver a connection of a high-voltage AC source to the electrode (), allows a spatially close arrangement of two contact pins (), which are connected to at least one high-voltage source, in close proximity to each other in that the electrode assembly () has at least two electrodes (), which are arranged in the base section and are insulated from each other by the dielectricum () and a connection conductor () of each of which extends into the contact projection (); a recess () is provided in the dielectricum () and a contact pin () is provided for each connection conductor (); at least one of the contact pins () is supported in the contacting element () by means of a dielectric casing () and is designed with a non-insulated end face () for producing a contact with the corresponding electrode (); and the at least one dielectric casing () is oversized with respect to the corresponding recess () in the dielectricum (), said oversize allowing a press fit of the casing () in the dielectricum () by means of the lever assembly when the non-insulated end face () of the contact pin () contacts the corresponding electrode (), wherein the press fit prevents an air gap.

Treatment assembly for treating the surface of a body with a dielectrically limited plasma

The invention relates to an electrode arrangement for forming a dielectric barrier plasma discharge between an electrode () supplied with an AC high voltage by a control device () and a treatment surface () of an electrically conductive body (), said arrangement functioning as a ground electrode, wherein a dielectric material () completely covets the electrode () up to the treatment surface () and forms a contact side for the surface (). Planar flexible electrode arrangement for a dielectric barrier plasma discharge

The invention relates to a flat flexible coating arrangement comprising a coating surface () for placing on a body region of a living being and at least one electrode (') arranged above the coating surface (), and a dielectric () containing the at least one electrode (&#x2032;), the at least one electrode (&#x2032;) comprising a supply line for an AC high voltage in order to form a dielectrically impeded plasma. The invention relates to an electrode array for a dielectrically impeded plasma treatment of a surface of a body, comprising at least one flexible flat electrode () and one dielectric () consisting of a flat flexible first material which protects the electrode () from the surface to be treated, with a layer () impeding a direct current flow. A transcutaneous connection between an exterior and an interior of a human or animal body includes a cylindrical skin penetration piece which provides a passage through the skin and has a longitudinal axis that determines the direction of passage through the skin. Wound-healing action and reliable disinfection are effected using an annular flat electrode arrangement, which has a contact surface at an angle to the longitudinal axis, can be fastened to the skin penetration piece. The electrode arrangement includes a flat electrode and a flat dielectric shielding the electrode relative to the surface of the skin, and is designed as a counter-electrode to generate a dielectric barrier plasma between the dielectric and the surface of the skin.

Plasma treatment device

A device for treating a surface with a dielectric harrier plasma, wherein the surface functions as a counterelectrode, has an electrically insulating housing and a housing head. A rotatable electrode connected to a high-voltage feed line is shielded by a dielectric and protrudes out of the housing head. The configuration has fundamentally unrestricted movement of the electrode over the surface to be treated in that the electrode has rotary bearing elements which are arranged in a center axis and a rotation axis is at an angle to the center axis.

Flat flexible support piece for a dielectrically impeded plasma treatment

The invention relates to an electrode array for a dielectrically impeded plasma treatment of a surface of an electrically conductive body used as a counter electrode, comprising a flexible planar electrode () and a dielectric () of a planar flexible material, which by way of a layer () preventing a direct current flow shields the electrode () from the surface to be treated. By way of a structure having projections, the dielectric () can rest upon the surface to be treated, wherein air spaces for forming the plasma are formed in between the projections. The producibility in particular is improved in that the structure is a lattice structure () of adjoining walls () that limit a plurality of chambers () forming the air spaces, and in that the chambers () have a bottom-side closure through the layer () of the dielectric () preventing the direct current flow and have a face that is open to the surface to be treated, the contact surface of which face consists of end edges () of the walls () of the lattice structure () on the surface to be treated.

A flat pad structure, designed to generate a dielectric barrier discharge plasma on a contact side () of said pad structure, comprises a flat electrode arrangement () which is embedded in a flat dielectric (), can be supplied with high-voltage signals and is shielded on all sides against an unimpeded current flow; said pad structure has better stability and can be better adapted to elongate treatment areas because a width of the structure extends in a longitudinal direction (L) and in the longitudinal direction (L) the structure has a plurality of identically structured portions (), each with a dielectric portion in the width of the pad structure and each with at least one electrode portion; the electrode portions of said portions () adjoin one another in the longitudinal direction (L) and form an electrode arrangement () extending over the entire length such that, in order to reduce the size of the contact surface in the longitudinal direction (L), at least one portion () can be separated from an adjacent portion () at a predetermined separation line () extending transverse to the longitudinal direction (L) and such that in the remaining portion () the predetermined separation line () is covered by an insulating component ().
