A system and a method for fastening a rail to a substrate, with a guide plate for laterally guiding the rail that has a standing surface associated with the substrate, a support element to support the guide plate in the assembly position, a spring element supported on the guide plate and at least one spring arm for exerting a resilient holding force onto the foot of the rail, and a tensioning means for tensioning the spring element. The fastening can be assembled in that the support element has a support lug supported on the substrate in the assembly position to reach under the standing surface of the guide plate in a way that the guide plate is supported on the substrate via the support lug in the region where the guide plate and support lug overlap.

A device for positional securing and guiding of rails for railway tracks for trains, in particular high-speed trains, includes guide plates. In general, rails are laid directly or indirectly by intermediate assembly of intermediate plates to fixed concrete track beds and guide plates, against which the rail base and possibly intermediate plates lie laterally. Guide plates are embedded on or in the concrete track beds, wherein the guide plates are fabricated of high-strength, form-stable material, preferably reinforced plastic, such as for example glass-fiber reinforced plastic, in particular polyamide. The device according to the invention allows to create guide plates which are overall more wear resistant. Wear resistance is achieved in that the guide plate within the surface area, on which the rail base rests, has an insert or areas provided with inserts, the insert being fabricated of slippable, low-abrasion or friction-resistant, low-wear or wear-resistant and flexibly resilient material.

A system for fastening a rail includes a sleeper having a supporting face supporting the flange of the rail and merging at its sides into respective levelling faces situated at a higher level than the supporting face, an angled mounting plate having a central portion on the underside of which is formed a support surface by which the angled mounting plate can be placed down on the respective levelling face assigned thereto, a supporting portion formed onto the central portion and pointing downwards from the underside of the latter and which can bridge a clear space between the flange of the rail and the levelling face, a resilient member which can be placed down on the angled plate and has two holding arms by which the resilient member can exert a holding force on the rail, and a clamping member which can exert a clamping force on the resilient member.

The invention relates to a damping means for damping acoustic vibrations on rails. This damping means is, in particular, a body made of plastics and ferrous materials. The damping means is characterized by a chamber filling body, which consists of a thermoplastic and of metal constituents finely dispersed therein and is produced by extrusion or injection molding, whereby the density of the body is &#x3e;2.4 g/cm.

With an anchor construction having a clamp gripping the tie on both sides, the clamp parts are constructed of approximately the same size in order to form clamp halves, the connection is formed as a pivot arrangement and in the region of the connection position a tightening means is provided for producing a tightening force clamping the clamp halves on the tie.

The invention describes a clamp for rails that is produced from resilient steel bar with multiple bends. The first section (11) of the rail clamp (9, 10) is essentially horizontally arranged, while the last section (14) rests on the rail flange (5). The second section (12) curves upwards in the vertical plane that passes through the first section (11). The remaining sections of the clamp lie all on the side of the first section that faces the rail. The fastening arrangement comprises an anchoring part (20) where the supporting surface (23) for a supporting section of the clamp (9, 10) is located essentially vertically above the locating hole (24) of the clamp (9, 10). That produces a relatively short clamp requiring a minimum of material.

The invention relates to a rail securing arrangement, which has the following features. It comprises metal plates, each of which lies with its flat lower surface on the sleeper, and on whose upper surface two ribs are formed which extend in the longitudinal direction of the rail, and between which the foot of the sleeper lies on a bearing surface. On both sides of the rail in the region of the respective ribs, each plate has moreover at least one through-hole, with which a respective through-hole in the sleeper is aligned. Corresponding screws are each introduced with their lower ends into the respective through-holes of the plate and engage with a hook-like bend beneath the lower surface of the plate. Each screw is provided at its upper end with a thread onto which a respective nut is screwed. Furthermore, the securing arrangement comprises plate-like securing elements which are each bent to form a double-armed angle member. The first arm of each securing element engages, together with the associated screw in the corresponding through-hole in the plate, whereby the screw is fixed in this through-hole in such manner that the hook-like bend of the screw engages securely beneath the lower surface of the plate. The second arm of each securing element extends perpendicularly away from the rail and lies at least partially on the upper surface of the plate. Finally, clips are provided, which each have a respective screw. Each clip consists of a round-sectioned steel rod and possesses a form which is symmetrical to a vertical plane perpendicular to the rail. Each clip surrounds the associated screw with a central part which lies beneath the nut. A part of the clip facing the rail lies on the rail foot, while an outer part of the clip facing away from the rail presses from above on the upper surface of the plate.
