An energy chain device includes at least one energy chain for guiding lines, cables, hoses or the like between a fixed and a movable connection region so as to form a curved region between a moved strand and a stationary strand. Each energy chain has a number of links which are connected to one another in a flexible manner and are formed by link plates which are arranged parallel to one another and transverse webs which connect the link plates. The energy chain device further includes at least one drive device which is operatively connected to the moved strand, and a control unit which is connected to the drive device so as to transmit signals and is connectable so as to transmit signals to a control device of a device which is connectable to the movable connection region.

A link of an energy chain has two parallel side flaps and at least one horizontal web. The two side flaps and the at least one horizontal web are connected to each other by positioning, pivoting and engaging. Two pivoting groups are provided, including in each case a contact surface and a relevant intake for positioning the contact surface in such a way that the pivoting groups in the positioned state form a pivoting axis transversely to the longitudinal axis of the chain link. Furthermore, two engagement groups are provided which in each case are formed by a locking element and a relevant abutment for receiving the locking element. A chain link can be assembled in a simple manner by a plurality of different horizontal webs and side flaps, wherein the connection between the horizontal web and the side flap cannot be randomly released.

Chain link

An element is provided for a cable carrier device which is constructed and arranged to carry cabling components such as cables, lines, hoses and the like between a first connection point and a second connection point. The element is formed from a material including at least one plastic and a filler. The filler includes three-dimensional geometrical carbon-based structures having nanometer-scale dimensions. In some arrangements, the carbon-based structures are carbon nanotubes formed of carbon atoms. Accordingly, the element is capable of dissipating electrostatic charges of the cable carrier device. Thus, the corresponding cable carrier device is suitable for working environments that are to be protected from electrostatic effects.

The invention relates to a drag chain system. The aim of the invention is to reduce the generation of noise in such a system. For this purpose, a side piece has at least one elastic element which is fixed at one end. The side piece comprises at least one stop so that the elastic element of a side piece can interact with a stop of another side piece.
