An air conduction element for reducing the air resistance of a load-carrying vehicle having a load space structure. The air conduction element can be externally mounted in the rear region of the load space structure and includes an air conduction duct with a front air inlet opening and a rear air outlet opening, front and rear being in relation to the direction of travel (x). The air inlet opening overlaps the load space structure in the direction of travel (x) and the air outlet opening is arranged behind the load space structure within the cross-sectional contour thereof. The air conduction element has a cover which delimits the air conduction duct. It was therefore the aim to devise an air conduction element which does not increase the dimensions of the load space structure when the vehicle is driving slowly or is at a standstill. For this purpose, the cover is produced from a flexible flat material.

The invention concerns a lubricating system for a fifth-wheel traction coupling of a towing vehicle, comprising a coupling plate, the upper side of which has at least one grease discharge aperture which is connected to a lubricating device via a supply line fixed to the coupling plate. The invention addresses the problem of developing a lubricating system for towing vehicles which permits automatic lubrication irrespective of whether a central lubricating system is provided. The invention solves the problem using a lubricating system in which the lubricating device is associated with the fifth-wheel traction coupling and is arranged directly on the fifth-wheel traction coupling or in the vicinity of the fifth-wheel traction coupling.

The invention relates to a system for lubricating a closing mechanism on a saddle coupling comprising a closing mechanism which is arranged on the lower side of a coupling plate and which comprises at least one closing hook and/or closing bar, provided with a coating, and a fat reservoir which is connected to the closure hook by means of a lubricating line. The invention also relates to a coating of individual components of the system, i.e. the closing hook and the closing bar, in addition to the use of a coating. The invention relates to a device for detecting and displaying the position of components of vehicle couplings, in particular semi-trailer couplings. A combined sensor and display unit is located in a common housing. The sensor unit comprises at least one sensor and the display unit at least one display element. The device can be mounted on the exterior of a semi-trailer coupling or of a sliding unit of a semi-trailer coupling, adjacent to a manual actuating element of a closing or locking device.

A displacement device for a fifth wheel traction coupling with two base bars and a fifth wheel traction coupling supporting top part which includes two bearing chocks which are slidingly fixed to the base bars and telescoping in a locked position thereof into each base bar by means locking elements with the aid of a rack rail. The known per se sliding devices are expensive due to the production of the base bars, since the rack rails are provided with a toothed profile prior to be welded. A low-cost sliding device is producible in a simple manner. For this purpose, at least one base bar is provided with spaced rest windows on the axial extension thereof for receiving the locking elements.
