A filter element for a filter device has a filter housing (). The filter element () includes a receiving part () which, when the filter element () is located in the filter housing () in the operational position, comes into fluid communication with a housing part () of the filter housing () to form a fluid connection (). The receiving part () of the filter element () has an inner, first guiding path () for sealing contact to the housing part () of the filter housing () according to a first mode of construction and an outer, second guiding path () for sealing contact to the housing part () of the filter housing () according to a second mode of construction.

Filter element for a filter device

A filter device has a filter element () in a filter housing (). Corresponding threads () form a screw connection between a housing cover () of the filter housing () and the filter element (). A seal () is between the filter element () and the housing cover (). The screw connection is formed by threads () on a connecting pipe piece () that is part of an end cap () of the filter element () and that extends into the inner filter cavity () and by the threads () of the housing cover (). The housing cover threads () are on a receiving pipe piece () formed by a separate component attached to the housing cover ().

Filter device

A filter device has a filter element () received in a filter housing () and has a holding device () for detachably fixing the filter element in the filter housing (). Corresponding threads () form a screw connection between a housing cover () of the filter housing () and the filter element (). A sealing device () imparts a sealing action between the filter element () and the housing cover (). The screw connection is formed by threads () situated in the interior () of the filter element (). The thread () assigned to the filter element () is situated on a connecting pipe piece () that, as a constituent part of an end cap () of the filter element (), extends into the inner filter cavity () of the filter element (). The thread () assigned to the housing cover () is situated on a receiving pipe piece (), which can be screwed to the connecting pipe piece () of the filter element (). The receiving pipe piece is formed by a separate component in the form of a pipe piece () attached to the housing cover ().

A filter device has a filter housing () releasably accommodating one filter element () and has a housing pot () surrounding the filter element () and a removably attachable housing head () with fluid passage () for the discharge of filtrate. A valve device in the fluid passage includes a closing body () blocking the discharge flow in its closed position and facilitates the discharge flow in its release position. A locking device includes a blocking member () locking the closing body () in its closed position. The blocking member () can move out of its locking position into its unlocking position by a control element () on the filter element (). When the filter element () is situated in its functional position in the housing pot (), the control element impacts the blocking member () as the housing head () is attached to the housing pot () to move the blocking member axially to its unblocking position.
