A protective circuit for electrical connection to solar cells of a solar cell module is provided with a protective circuit that has a controlled electronic circuit arrangement. In this way, only minimal heating of the protective circuit for electrical connection of solar cells of a solar cell module occurs in operation. The controlled electronic circuit arrangement can have a trigger circuit and a switching arrangement which can be triggered by the trigger circuit, the switching arrangement being connected parallel to at least one solar cell, and in the case of shading of the solar cells, is at least temporarily activated by the trigger circuit so that a current bypass for the shaded solar cell is achieved.

Protective circuit

An electrical junction and joint box for a solar cell module having solar cells and an associated method. The junction and joint box and solar cell module are connected by conductor strips. The junction and joint box includes a housing having electrical and/or electronic means and a connection device located in the housing. The connection device is arranged to directly, without manual alteration, receive thin conductor strips routed out of the solar cell module from underneath when the junction and joint box is seated on the solar cell module. In this way reliable and efficient connection of the individual solar cells of the solar cell module can be easily achieved, and faulty contact-making can be avoided.

Electrical junction and joint box for a solar cell module

An electrical junction box for a solar cell module of solar cells which are connected with thin conductor strips, with a housing and electrical and/or electronic devices provided in the housing, and at least one electrical connection device () which has at least one terminal () and which is provided in the housing. The clamping mechanism () for producing clamping contact is made and arranged such that at least one thin conductor strip () routed out of the solar cell module can be inserted into the clamping mechanism in two different opposing entry directions. Thus, simple and reliable connection of thin conductor strips () routed out of the solar cell module can be guaranteed.

Electrical junction box for a solar cell module

A housing for an electronic device which can be removably mounted onto a mounting rail which includes a locking element located in an underside of the housing. The locking element can be moved from a first position in which the housing can be fastened onto the mounting rail into a second position wherein the housing can be lifted off the mounting rail. The locking element is associated with a retaining element for retaining the locking element in the second position. The retaining element includes a spring section extending substantially parallel to the locking element and a retaining section extending substantially perpendicularly thereto.

Electronic device housing

An electronic housing system is provided which includes at least two, especially plate shaped, electronic housings which can be snapped onto a mounting rail. The housing system includes a locking system including at least two housing portions, namely a starter unit and an end unit, and a key element. The starter unit is constructed as a key receptacle and the end unit is constructed as a lock complementary to the key element. The two housing portions can be locked with one another by rotation of the key element in the end unit. The locking system further includes an intermediate housing portion for positioning between the starter unit and the end unit, whereby the intermediate portion has an intermediate end unit for interlocking with the end of the key element, and an intermediate starter unit.

Electronic housing system

An input/output module (1) with a terminal unit (2) for connection of sensors or actuators with an electronic unit (3) and with a bus connection element (4). The terminal unit (2) has at least one input/output (5) located in a surface thereof and the terminal unit is connected by the electronic unit (3) to the bus connection element (4). To replace the electronic unit (3), the terminal unit (2) can be removed from the electronic unit (3) without the need to remove lines (6) connected to the inputs/outputs (5). The terminal unit (2) is able to be mounted to the electronic unit (3) in each of two positions, the input/output (5) in the two positions lying in planes that are offset relative to each other by 90.degree..
