Portable room humidifier

A portable humidifier and a method of using the same. The portable humidifier has a frame; a fluid droplet generator on the frame; and a fluid containment unit for a supply of fluid. The fluid droplet generator is operable to cause fluid droplets generated from fluid from the supply in the fluid containment unit to become entrained in environmental air in a space in which the portable humidifier is located. The fluid containment unit has a wall structure that is selectively reconfigurable to occupy different surrounding volumes.

Reconfigurable portable humidifier and method of using the portable humidifier

A personal inhaling apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes an ultrasonic personal inhaler with ultra-fine mist transducer that delivers both cool and warm mist using a heater, a face mask, a fluid supply means, and a power source including batteries and/or corded power supply. The apparatus may include a receptacle for a scented pad placed in contact with the heater. Indicators functioning in a pre-determined manner provide indication on if the device is delivering a cool mist, a warm mist, is switched-OFF, a level of charge of a power source, and a level of the fluid in the fluid supply means.

It is an Evaporative Humidifier Air Purification combo unit performing the functions of both cool mist evaporative air humidifier as well as the air purifier. The optional attachments make it easy for the consumers to make use of any of the functions it is capable of performing. It even solves the problem of degradation of performance and material life prevalent in conventional standalone air purifier units. The evaporative humidifier is motor driven and is provided with proprietary HEPA quality nano membrane with high chemical stability, waterproof, water vapor permeability, windproof, breathable, acid and alkali resistant, anti-corrosion and anti-bacteria functions etc. membrane used in combination with humidifier cooler pads. On using the water tank, the setup performs the function of air humidifier using the air sucked from the wick using the fan and aiding the evaporation of water in the tank. While on replacing the water tank with the air cover, the same fan sucks air through wick and blows the purified air upwards in consonance to the mode i.e. High, Medium or Low.

A vapor delivery system having: a) a base unit configured to generate a supply of vapor; and b) a vapor control system configured to allow a user to selectively: a) cause vapor generated by the base unit to be discharged primarily to a surrounding space within which the base unit resides to thereby increase vapor density in the surrounding space; and b) cause vapor generated by the base unit to be discharged primarily to a vapor guide structure configured to: i) be placed operatively with respect to a user's face; and ii) guide discharging vapor generated by the base unit into at least one of the user's nose and mouth with the vapor guide structure placed operatively with respect to the user's face.

The combination of: a) an apparatus with a main body and an operating assembly on the main body configured to cause fluid from a supply to be processed so as to become entrained in air in a surrounding atmosphere, wherein the main body has an elongate finger having a length and a free end; and b) a container defining a receptacle for a supply of fluid. The container has an entry opening that is dimensioned to allow the elongate finger on the main body to be directed, free end first, through the entry opening to allow a portion of the length of the elongate finger to be immersed in a supply of fluid in the receptacle. Structure cooperates between the apparatus and container to support the main body and container in an operative relationship.

Portable air treatment system

A portable appliance with a housing defining a space for operating components. The operating components define an air moving mechanism for causing atmospheric air to be drawn into the housing space to at least one of: a) cool at least one of the operating components; b) be treated by at least one of the operating components; and c) cause movement of a fluid within the housing space. The housing has a first wall with a downwardly facing surface in which an inlet opening is defined through which atmospheric air is drawn into the housing space. The housing further has a spacing wall that underlies the inlet opening and bounds in conjunction with the first wall an intake space through which atmospheric air is guided in a generally horizontal path towards the inlet opening.

An apparatus for delivering humidified air to a surrounding space and having a housing defining a space within which incoming air is treated, a receptacle for a supply of fluid, and an outlet. A plurality of operating components are supported by the housing, including a nebulizer that causes fluid in the receptacle to become entrained in incoming air. The treated air flows through the housing outlet to the surrounding space. The nebulizer operable by at least one electronic component that generates heat as the nebulizer is operated. The apparatus further has a heat sink assembly on the housing in heat exchange relationship with the at least one electronic heat generating component. The heat sink assembly is: a) cooled by air moving through the housing space; and b) not directly exposed to fluid in the receptacle.

Apparatus for delivering humidified air to a surrounding space

An apparatus for directing a vaporized substance into a space. The apparatus has a base with operating components capable of converting a liquid substance into a vapor, and a substance supply container that is separable from the base. The substance supply container in an operative state in relationship to the base delivers a supply of a substance therein in liquid form to the operating components on the base to be vaporized thereby. Vapor generated by the operating components is directed into a space within which the apparatus is located. The base and substance supply container cooperatively simulate the appearance of at least one of an animate or inanimate object.
