A variable turbine and/or compressor geometry for an exhaust gas turbocharger may include an adjusting ring for simultaneously adjusting a plurality of guide vanes. The adjusting ring may be operatively connected to an articulated lever via a first contact surface and to an associated adjusting lever of the plurality of guide vanes via a second contact surface. The adjusting ring may include, at least in a region of the first contact surface, an additional component which is pressed into the adjusting ring and which increases the first contact surface operatively connected with the articulated lever.

Variable turbine or compressor geometry for an exhaust gas turbocharger

A charger device may include a variable turbine geometry having guide vanes mounted rotatably in a van bearing ring. Each guide vane may have a top side that runs in convex fashion from a profile nose to a profile end. A concave recess may be arranged on a bottom side of each guide vane at the profile nose.

A method for producing a variable turbine geometry of a charging device may include inserting at least two guide blades into a blade mounting ring. The method may then include jointly machining at least two of the guide blades, in the mounted state, on respective end side of the at least two guide blades facing away from the blade mounting ring in order to produce a final shape of the end sides.

A turbine for a supercharging device of an internal combustion engine may include a turbine wheel which is rotatably arranged about an axis of rotation in a turbine housing. A radial inflow channel may be arranged coaxially to the turbine wheel, which leads to a radial inlet region of the turbine wheel. The inflow channel may be axially bounded on one side by a blade carrier and axially bounded on the other side by a cover disc. A plurality of guide blades may be pivotably arranged on the blade carrier, and a plurality of spacer elements may axially project from the blade carrier. An axial outflow channel may be arranged coaxially to the turbine wheel, which leads from the inlet region to an axial outlet region of the turbine wheel, which may be radially bounded by an inner contour formed complementary to an outer contour of the rotating turbine wheel.

Exhaust gas turbocharger with turbine

A charging device for an exhaust gas turbocharger of an internal combustion engine may include at least one variable turbine and compressor geometry and an adjusting device for adjusting the at least one variable turbine and compressor geometry. The adjusting device may include a minimum set limit, which defines a minimum set flow of the at least one variable turbine and compressor geometry for an exhaust gas driving the charging device, and a maximum set limit, which defines a maximum set flow of the at least one variable turbine and compressor geometry for the exhaust gas driving the charging device. The adjusting device may be designed such that at least one minimum set limit of the adjusting device and the maximum set limit of the adjusting dive are variably adjustable and readjustable.

Charging device and associated operating method

An exhaust gas turbocharger includes a waste gate valve and an adjusting device for adjusting the waste gate valve. The adjusting device is connected to the waste gate valve and disposed on a housing of the exhaust gas turbocharger. The adjusting device is fastened to the housing of the exhaust gas turbocharger via an adjusting template.
