This invention relates to polysiloxanes having fluoroaliphatic- and carboxyl- containing terminal groups, their preparation and their use in imparting water-, oil- and soil-repellency and a soft hand to fibrous substrates such as leather, and to the resulting treated substrate.

Polysiloxanes having fluoroaliphatic- and carboxyl-containing terminal

This invention relates to a treating composition containing 0.3 to 30% by weight of a fluoroaliphatic radical containing poly(oxyalkylene) compound, 0.3 to 30% by weight of an anti-soiling agent and 0 to 60% by weight of an environmentally acceptable water-miscible organic solvent and water for the use for imparting excellent water- and oil repellency, stain resistance and dry soil resistance to textiles, carpets, concrete, paper, leather and wool.

Fluorochemical water- and oil-repellant treating compositions

The invention provides polymers or copolymers which are prepared by the polymerization of the reaction product of a diisocyanate with a perfluoro compound or an epichlorhydrinadduct thereof and (meth)acrylic esters of a three hydroxyl groups containing compound. Furthermore, the invention relates to fluoroacrylic monomers, a process for preparing the polymers or copolymers and a treatment agent comprising the polymers or copolymers of the invention and an environmentally acceptable solvent. Polymers and copolymers of the invention can be used for making textiles, papers, non-woven articles, leather, plastic, wood, metal, stone and cement water and oil repellent.

Fluoroacrylate monomers and polymers, processes for preparing the same

Compositions for imparting water- and oil-repellency to fabrics are provided. They contain a mineral spirits solution of a fluorchemical water- and oil-repellent agent, zirconium carboxylic acid ester, and alkenyl succinic anhydride.

Solvent-based water- and oil-repellent treating agent

Compositions for imparting water- and oil-repellency to fabrics are provided. They contain a fluorochemical water- and oil-repellant agent, a carbodiimide compound, and at least one of the following: plasticizer, metal alcoholate or ester, zirconium salt, alkylketen dimer, aziridine, and alkenyl succinic anhydride. The compositions may also contain a silicone water-repellent.

Water- and oil-repellent treatment agent

Compositions for imparting water- and oil-repellency to fabrics and provided. The compositions contain a flurochemical water- and oil-repellent agent, an aziridine compound, and a metal alcoholate or ester. The compositions may optionallly contain a silicone water-repellent agent.
