A planet pin includes a center axis and an outer contour that runs at a distance r(x) from the center axis. The distance r(x) is dependent on an axial position x in at least one longitudinal portion. For at least one axial position interval [x1, x2], the distance r(x), for all x&#x2208;[x1, x2], of the outer contour from the center axis is r(x)=l(x)+g(x)+o(x), where l(x) is a linear function, g is constantly zero or convex on the interval [x1, x2], and o(x0)=0 applies for at least one x0&#x2208;]x1, x2[. The function o is concave on the interval [x1, x0], convex on the interval [x0, x2], and decreasing in x0.

At least one gearwheel () is fixed onto the transmission shaft () and positioned in the axial direction between the fixed bearing () and the floating bearing (). The fixed bearing () is formed by at least one roller bearing and the floating bearing () is in the form of at least one slide bearing.

Combined anti-friction and plain bearing mounting for a gearbox shaft

A lubrication conducting element has first and second side parts, each of which creates a sealing lip. The first side part extends to the intermediate part and the second side part extends to the intermediate part. The first and second side parts and the intermediate part form a first cavity with a first opening. Third and fourth side parts each creates a sealing lip. The third side part extends to the intermediate part and the fourth side part extends to the intermediate part. The third and fourth side parts and the intermediate part form a second cavity with a second opening. A hole in the intermediate part facilitates lubrication flow between the first and second cavities. The side parts, the sealing lips, the intermediate part, the cavities and the openings extend rotationally symmetric around a common symmetric axis.

A method for lubricating a gearbox of a wind turbine. The gearbox comprises a plurality of gears and shafts supported by bearings of which at least one bearing is a plain bearing. The gearbox furthermore comprises a lubrication system with both a mechanical pump and an electrical pump for feeding the gears and bearings with lubricant, wherein a difference between a volume capacity of the mechanical and electrical pump is a maximum 40%. The method comprises the step of controlling at least one valve, during start-up of the gearbox, and feeding lubricant to the bearings via the electrical pump; feeding lubricant to the bearings and the gears, during normal operation of the gearbox, via the electrical pump and the mechanical pump; and feeding lubricant only the bearings, during the absence of electrical power supply, via the mechanical pump.

Method for lubricating a gearbox for a wind turbine

A planetary gear stage for a gearbox has a ring gear, a sun gear and a planet carrier for driving planet shafts. Each planet shaft has a planet gear with radial and axial contact surfaces and which is rotatably supported by a plain bearing arrangement. The bearing arrangement has two bushings fixed to the planet shaft. Each bushing is L-shaped in cross-section and has radial and axial contact surfaces. The bushings form a cross-sectional U-shape and are axially locked by abutments. At least part of the planet gear is located within the U-shape formed by the bushings. The plain bearing arrangement has a radial sliding support arranged between the radial contact surface of the bushings and the radial contact surface of the planet gear and an axial sliding support arranged between the axial contact surface of the bushings and the axial contact surface of the planet gears.
