The composition for removing or lightening hair color is in the form of a hair color lightening suspension and is mixed with an aqueous oxidizing composition immediately prior to use. The composition includes a combination of from 0.1 to 80 percent by weight of one or more organic lipophilic compounds, namely vegetable or animal fats, vegetable or animal oils, vegetable or animal waxes, paraffin hydrocarbons, higher alcohols or ethers, aliphatic and aromatic esters and/or silicone oils; from 0.01 to 20 percent by weight of at least one lipophilic inorganic or organic thickener, which is a bentonite and/or dextrin palmitate; from 0.1 to 40 percent by weight of one or more hydrophilic inorganic or organic thickeners; from 10 to 65 percent by weight of at least one inorganic persalt; from 10 to 45 percent by weight of at least one alkaline reacting salt; and auxiliary substances and cosmetic additive ingredients, as needed.

Compositions for removing or lightening hair color

The oxidative hair treatment composition is made by mixing several components immediately prior to application on the hair. One component contains dehydroascorbic acid, its derivatives or salts or their mixture, is anhydrous or contains up to 10% by weight of water, and is a powder, granulate or tablet or micro-encapsulated or a suspension and another component is an aqueous, alcoholic or aqueous alcoholic preparation. In order to avoid an unpleasant mercaptan odor and provide a uniform treatment the method for permanently waving hair includes putting the hair into the desired form, treating it with a keratin-reducing agent, and then rinsing it, after which it is treated oxidatively with the above-described oxidative treatment composition and rinsed once again.

Agent and method for permanent waving

The powdery bleaching composition has improved storage stability and contains from 25 to 70 percent by weight of at least one solid per-compound as effective bleaching agent and from about 0.1 to about 20 percent by weight of at least one cross-linked silicone elastomer. The at least one cross-linked silicone elastomer is made by cross-linking with an alpha, omega-diene or a vinyl-polysiloxane and preferably is a dimethicone/vinyl-dimethicone crosspolymer or a cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone crosspolymer. Simple methods of making the powdery cosmetic compositions are also described.

The composition includes a combination of from 0.1 to 80 percent by weight of one or more organic lipophilic compounds, namely vegetable or animal fats, vegetable or animal oils, vegetable or animal waxes, paraffin hydrocarbons, higher alcohols or ethers, aliphatic and aromatic esters and/or silicone oils; from 0.1 to 40 percent by weight of at least one lipophilic inorganic or organic thickener, which forms an oleogel and/or lipogel with the lipophilic compounds; from 0.1 to 40 percent by weight of one or more hydrophilic inorganic or organic thickeners; from 10 to 65 percent by weight of at least one inorganic persalt; from 10 to 45 percent by weight of at least one alkaline reacting salt; and auxiliary substances and cosmetic additive ingredients, as needed.

A new oxidizing agent composition for mixing with oxidation dye pre-cursor compounds, such as developer and coupler substances, to form a ready-to-use dye mixture for dyeing keratin fibers is described. The oxidizing agent composition contains from 0.01 to 25 percent by weight of at least one alkaline earth peroxide, based on the ready-to-use dye mixture, and from 0.01 to 25 percent by weight of at least one inorganic or organic acid, salt of the at least one organic or inorganic acid or mixture of the salt and/or the at least one acid, based on the ready-to-use dye mixture.
