The invention relates to a vibratory paving screed for a paver, comprising a baseplate and a vibration drive therefor and also comprising a front wall which is mounted upstream of the baseplate in the paving direction, is fixed with respect to the baseplate and engages with the baseplate, in which arrangement the baseplate comprises a section of uniform thickness and, in the region of its front edge, a separate, solid strip which is connected to the section and has a metering slope and a flat run-in bevel situated behind.

The invention relates to a paver for the paving of ground courses for roads or the like, having a chassis and a trailed floating screed which is articulated on the latter via tow arms and of which the angle of attack relative to the ground is capable of being adjusted via actuating cylinders and which comprises a basic screed and extendable screeds and/or attached screed parts, there being arranged between the rear region, as seen in the paving direction, of the chassis and the extendable screeds and/or the attached screed parts of each side at least one hydraulic supporting cylinder which, at the moment of start-up of the paver, is subjected to an adjustable hydraulic pressure.

Paver for the paving of ground courses for roads or the like

A road finisher has a chassis and a floating laying beam, which is located behind the chassis. The beam includes a centrally divided basic beam, and extendable beams which can extend laterally from the basic beam and can be height-adjusted, with respect to the basic beam. The basic beam and the extendable beams are arranged offset one behind the other in the direction of travel. The height adjusting devices are adjusted automatically in such a way that they keep the respective rear edges of the basic beam and of the extendable beams in the same plane. A control signal for the height adjusting devices is derived from measured values for the setting angle of the basic beam. The control signal is picked up by a sensors on the front of the tie bars for measuring the distance from a reference plane independent of the road finisher, and utilized to determine the height of the rear edge of the basic beam and of the extendable extendable beams.

The invention relates to a road finisher with a chassis having a front bucket for receiving packing material and a conveying device for conveying the packing material from the bucket to a rear spreader screw arrangement which is arranged transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the road finisher and in front of a consolidation plank which is extendable, the consolidation plank, which is connected to the chassis via pulling arms and floats on the packing material, being divided centrally in the direction of the longitudinal axis into two plank halves, the consolidation plank being provided with a device for adjusting the inclination of two halves with respect to each other and having outer side cheeks. In order to counteract twisting of the consolidation plank and opening of the gap between the two plank halves, a clamping device, the clamping force of which can be set by a cylinder articulated on the chassis, is arranged between the chassis and the lower region of the outer side cheek.

Road finisher

A method of compacting asphalt material having a mix of coarse and fine grains includes providing a paver which has, as compaction assemblies, two strip-shaped tampers which are arranged one directly behind the other in the direction of travel, each tamper being provided with a metering slope and each tamper being provided with a tamping surface thereon, each tamper being vertically reciprocated between an upper and lower terminal position, so as to cause the front tamper lower position to correspond substantially to the rear tamper upper position, whereby coarser grains in the asphalt mix are embedded and undergo minimal longitudinal displacement, as the paver moves.

In order that the extensible planks can be extended by half the width of the basic plank, it is provided that at least two guide rods (10, 11) parallel to the cylinder axis are arranged outside the region of the outer stationary cheek (7) between inner and outer movable cheeks (5, 8), which guide two guide cheeks (12) arranged at a mutual interval and connected to the extensible plank (4), a guide rod (11) being embraced by a cylinder (13) connected to the guide cheeks (12) and provided with an annular piston (14) stressable on both sides, and the stroke of the cylinder (13) corresponding substantially to the interval between the inside of the inner cheek (8) and the outside of the basic plank (1) in the extendded state of the extensible plank (4).

The invention relates to a laying plank for a road finishing machine, comprising a basic plank (1) which exhibits two central upright cheeks (2) to which a telescopic cylinder (3) is attached on each side which guides an inner movable cheek (8) of an extensible plank (4) for the lateral prolongation of the basic plank (1) and engages its outer movable cheek (5) for extension, guide rods (7) parallel to the cylinder axis being provided respectively between inner and outer cheeks (5,8) which are guided by an outer cheek (11) connected firmly to the basic plank (1). In order that the basic plank (1) can be enlarged practically to double width by the extensible planks, it is provided that the guide rods (7) are constructed as telescopic rods and the extensible planks (4) are respectively connected to an auxiliary cheek (6) adjacent to the inner movable cheek (8), the auxiliary cheeks (6) being respectively guided and retained by an auxiliary guide means (13, 14 ) fastened to the respective inner movable cheek (8), parallel to the cylinder axis and extending outwards.

The invention relates to a laying plank for a road finishing machine, comprising a basic plank (1) which exhibits two central upright cheeks (2), on which an extension cylinder (3) is arranged on each side which is guided by an inner cheek (8) of an extensible plank (4) for the lateral prolongation of the basic plank (1) and engages its outer cheek (5) for extending, at least one guide rods (7) parallel to the cylinder axis being provided respectively between inner and outer cheeks (5, 8), which is guided by an outer cheek (9) located on the basic plank (1). In order that the basic plank (1) can be enlarged virtually to double width by the extensible planks, it is provided that the cheek (9) located on the basic plank (1) is constructed as a sliding block slidable relative to the basic plank (1) along a guide means (13) connected to the latter, the extending cylinder (3) being connected to the sliding block (9 ) and slidable.

A road-finishing machine provided with a level-compensation arrangement. A directional wheel installed on each side of a frame includes an axle to which a vertical pin is attached. The pin is slidably and rotatably accomodated with a cylinder housing having a hydraulic fluid-filled chamber therein into which the top of the pin, shaped like a piston head, is placed. Veertical motion of the wheel and corresponding motion of the pin cause hydraulic fluid to be expelled from or drawn into the chamber. The chambers of the wheels on opposite sides of the frame are in communication with each other. Consequently, as one wheel rises, the other is forced downward by the compensating hydraulic fluid, and vice-versa, to attain a level compensation effect.

The invention concerns a consolidating plank for a highway finishing machine the basic plank body of which is lengthenable by a manually attachable plank or by an extendible plank. For creating such a high compacting effect that a subsequent following compaction is saved, a stamp unit having at least two stamps is provided, which stamps have a common eccentric support.
