The disclosure relates to an antenna system comprising: a transceiver & control unit configured to control the antenna system and to generate a RF transceiver signal; a compensator connected to the transceiver & control unit through a connecting line, the compensator being configured to compensate for signal losses occurring for the RF transceiver signal in the connecting line between the transceiver & control unit and the compensator; an antenna interface provided at the compensator configured to transmit an antenna output signal with a variable output power; and a bidirectional communication line configured to provide a bidirectional communication between the compensator and the transceiver & control unit, wherein the transceiver & control unit is configured to indicate to the compensator through the bidirectional communication line a desired value of the variable output power to be present at the antenna interface when the antenna output signal is output by the antenna interface.

The invention relates to a system for a motor vehicle having a control unit, which is connected to a communication bus of the motor vehicle, and an emergency call unit which is designed to make an emergency call to an emergency call center, wherein the emergency call unit is connected to the control unit via an interface and can operate in a first operating mode, which corresponds to the normal operation of the emergency call unit, in which the control unit controls the emergency call unit and supplies it with energy via the interface, and in a second operating mode, in which the emergency call unit is designed to make the emergency call to the emergency call center without control and energy by way of the control unit. The emergency call unit is only connected via the interface and not directly to the communication bus.

A telematics control entity to determine position data of a vehicle having a network access entity connected to a cellular network and configured to transmit, in case of an emergency, a vehicle position via the cellular network to a service entity configured to collect the vehicle positions for a plurality of vehicles. An antenna signal interface is configured to receive satellite-based measurement data and at least one position determining unit is configured to determine positioning data of the vehicle based on the satellite-based measurement data. A predefined integrity level describing a predefined risk classification of the functional safety is guaranteed to be provided by the positioning data. The positioning data is provided to an application entity in the vehicle requiring the predefined integrity level for the received positioning data.

A system for updating a multiple domain embedded system may include a processor that can identify a device associated with the embedded system and a driver that supports the device. The processor can determine a domain associated with the driver and a first configuration label of a first configuration of the multiple domain embedded system. The processor can also determine a second configuration label of a second configuration of the multiple domain embedded system, based on the first configuration label, an identification of the driver, and an identification of the device. Further, the processor can update the driver based on the second configuration label.
