The invention relates to a device for influencing a backward movement of a seat, in particular a backrest part of the seat, with at least one deformation element arranged in a hinged area of the seating part of the seat, the deformation element being configured such that the deformation element can be deformed due to a force acting on the seating part and/or the back part at a predefined torque curve.
